Thanks for the positive comments!  :)
Yes, there is an armature. Most of my sculptures have wire running into their bases for stability. Feather distribution is based on fossils of gorgosaurus, tyrannosaurus, and tarbosaurus.
A, yes I don't like it when people make their dinosaurs look 'mean' either, with the slit pupils and everything. I do like the suspension idea.
The parasaurolophus is finished along with a resin kit I was building as well, however they are both at a show for the week so I'll have to wait to give pictures.

Its been a long time since I actually finished the sculpture, but I was having rather annoying USB trouble lately so I can only show the pictures now.

It was okay working in 1:20 scale but I will return to 1:40 after this. The size makes it rather hard to handle and more space-consuming.

Great job! Everything about it turned out so nice. It looks like a really neat animal.

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Really lovely piece! The detail is great and the colours play it off nicely. I can easily imagine an animal like this taking a stroll across a Campanian floodplain somewhere in North America and not looking a bit out of place.

Thanks, guys.  :D
I am just starting a mammoth so I'll probably post some progress pictures in a few weeks. The armature isn't as easy to do this time, but it should turn out alright.

Sorry the photo isn't the greatest but I only had my phone at the moment. I should have the indominus ready in a few weeks at the most. Those osteoderms, and more dramatically, other priorities made that one take much longer than it should have. The sculpting's done but I don't have any pictures ATM.

Thanks  ^-^ . It's done now:

With the Schleich scale guy. I should make my own for the sake of individuality.
I also started a brontosaurus, also in 1:40 scale:

And finally, the indominus rex is complete!

Lots of other stuff coming soon...

The Europasaurus style looks similar to Battat. Also if you look at my art page I now have some of my artwork on it! ;D
