Dreams About Dinosaurs

Last night I dreamt that I received a ton of CollectA toys in the mail. A couple were ones that I really do have on order, but there were also all these multipacks that I'd never seen before. I couldn't determine if I had won the diorama contest or suffered from a severe memory lapse. And then I began hiding the toys so that my wife wouldn't see how many had arrived at one time.

I also dreamed that I came across the Feathered T. rex at Chapters, a Canadian retail chain. The base had been removed and instead there was a dead cow sculpted permanently to one of the feet. I was grumbling at what a silly idea it was.

Anyone else have dinosaur-related dreams they'd like to share?

Last winter,one night I dreamt I was caressing a sleeping Yutyrannus.

All the time man, all the time. Usually they involve me finding a box of dinosaurs are a thrift store/antique shop/yard sale and discovering a whole bunch of rare models. Sometimes there are models that don't even exist. It's always sad when I wake up from these dreams are realize that I never have that good fortune in life.

And occasionally I have dreams about living dinosaurs too, or fossil hunting, or trips to a particular museum etc.

I've must've had like, 20 of these dreams. Mostly they involve really nice models that actually don't exist, but I once had a dream I was received a giant CollectA Spinosaurus (2015). It must've been, I don't know... It was big!

I had a dream once where I was in a shop, almost like an old roadside attraction, filled with vintage and modern toy dinosaurs. They included the Invicta iguanodon which, I think, I bought shortly after.

Last winter,one night I dreamt I was caressing a sleeping Yutyrannus.

Wow, that sounds amazing. Sometimes I find dinosaurs or marine reptiles in my dreams, and my reaction is always to take a picture, since it would be such a big discovery.

i just had a dream that i was in hobby lobby checking what dinosaurs they had and when i got to the isle i noticed they had rearranged it and added lots more, they didnt have papo spinosaurs or t rexes anymore like they usually do but there were like 4 sections in the isle of dinosaurs and animals so i was looking at them trying to see what brands they were, then i saw a mosasaurus and picked it up but it felt extremely light and cheap it was made out of foam or something that felt like it would easily break if i put pressure on it but i was gonna buy it anyway because i love mosasaurus, then i was going to look around the store for paint and i woke up. now i need a mosasaurus

That time, in my dream im walking in the city park wacthing a sign "riding a pony in a whole new level this way" i follow the sign then i saw a little girl riding a crocodile, im not sure its a crocodile or a kaprosuchus because it can gallop like horse, then i woke up but i cant breath normally maybe because i woke up too quickly and my body is still not ready to adjust my consciousness...well interesting thread

Let's see some dreams:

I once dreamed that I was on at the New York Premier of "Devil Dinosaur: The Movie". Sadly I did not see the movie itself. Apparently it existed in the dream universe instead of "The Good Dinosaur".

In another I found some rare dinosaur models in a store...full of plastic dinosaur eating zombies. Really weird. Sadly I couldn't stop them from eating a Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus ( the water squitting one ), but I managed to stop them by throwing Schleich and Chinasaurs at them.

In yet another I found an action figure based on the blue crested Parasaurolophus that was either painted by Sibbick or Hallett.

Oh, and in another I discovered the skeleton of a two-headed Pterosaur.

I had a few dreams related to dinosaurs, but the one that I better remember happened when I was a kid.

I was inside of grey building, the floor was covered with grey bricks or rocks.
I was with more people, and we were running, from a T.rex,
Because I was tired of running I hid behind a pile of rocks\bricks., hopping that the T.rex will follow the others and forget about me.
But It found me.
He opened it´s jaws and when it was about to eat me... I woke up.

So yeah...more like a nightmare.

I also had a dream with a JP Spinosaurus

In other dreams I got some dinosaur figures that I don't have  or Jurassic park operation genesis works in my computer
There are more, but I don´t remember them as well as others

I once had a dream that I was in a kind of jungle under a glass dome and there was a carnotaurus and I was watching it from behind a bush and it was looking for me...

I also had a dream when I was 5 or 6 that a dinosaur lived under my bed, this was dream happened multiple times until I moved house (the dinosaur was a sauropod  )

I one time had a dream where is was at a burger joint that sold you dinosaur figures instead of food.   


You go up and order the model and the go back and make it for you.


I also had dreams were I see a mountain  display of non existing models that I wanted to collect.    But my dreams change rapidly.   One minute I'm lookin at dinosaurs and the next minute I'm stuck in a storm.

Well...


Actually last night I had a dream where I could tap on this oversized Apatosaurus and suddenly I would be riding it. I was in the parking lot at my school, telling my friends about it (the dinosaur was in the parking lot). They didn't believe me even though they could see it, so I got on it and rode around in circles in the parking lot. They still didn't believe me.




Also there was a bloodied and exhausted Godzilla walking in the background.

Rather recently I had a dream that I sold a huge lot of Chinasaurs and was then gifted a room full of UKRD and AAA Dinosaurs.

I remember having a dream where I was playing Minecraft and there were new blue dromaeosaur-esque mobs that (I think) were able to be tamed.  Although I forgot a majority of the dream, I do remember the mobs attacking a Shulker by shooting lasers at them. XD

Great idea for a thread, reading it is very entertaining! I posted this on the one Deliciaraptor started, but I'll post it here as this seems to be the one people are going to be looking at.

This wasn't my dream, but one an old friend from primary school had (she always had weird dreams - I swear she's not smoking anything, but you'll just have to take my word for it!). She dreamed that our town had to be evacuated because of a large dinosaur approaching, and her family got moved to somewhere where she and her brother had to share a bedroom the size of a toilet cubicle with gingham bed sheets. Unfortunately, the dinosaur found them, but it turned out to be afraid of gingham, so my friend waved her duvet out of the window and it ran away. Then she and her family flew back to their house in a helicopter.

Sadly, I can't recall having any dinosaur related dreams myself... :/

Not really about dinosaurs.   But I had a dream that paleontologist Robert Baker visited my house because I was very sick feeling (I could not move easily, or open my right eyelid). I asked him qustions i had about some dinosaurs and he hung out with my family in the back yard.  He then decide to do our dishes for us and i offer to help him.

I was about to thank him for his kindness before I woke up.

I dreamed I was at the mall and there was a presentation being given by a company that made tiny pet living dinosaurs. Big stage, local tv news, crowd of onlookers and so on. The entrepreneur giving the presentation looked exactly like the actor Sam Rockwell. He was unveiling their latest product, which turned out to be a Dale Russell style dinosauroid and was intended to be a housekeeper or nanny for the kids. The crowd thought this was a terrific idea and was applauding, but I got so upset I jumped over the parapet and ran up on stage yelling how it was not only slavery but also really scientifically innaccurate. Woke up just as security grabbed me.
