If this is true, then PNSO will have officially broken me.

Bokisaurus

Wow, those are massive!🙀
Beautiful but if they are indeed that size, I'll be heartbroken since I don't have room for anything that size!😫

I assume that either the Tyrannosaur or Parasaurolophus will be announced next week. Hopefully these are not part of the vinyl and just like the rumors the vinyl series won't start till next year.

LeapingLaelaps

I really prefer their smaller sized figures but... I love their vinyl stuff so much. I guess I'll just have to build more shelves ::)

2021 starts in just over 30some days..  ;D

Over9K

Many times toy companies will create prototypes that are larger than the product is intended to be, to allow for the sculpting of clear, crisp detail, which is then rendered in the intended smaller size for production. I'd point to the Sauropelta as an indication that the large prototypes we see in those images are just that, prototypes, and the actual released figures will be smaller, like the Sauropelta turned out to be...

This is a different sculpt, quite different looking at the head in particular.

That clearly isn't a Sauropelta? Dunno where you're seeing a Sauropelta prototype.

And regarding the large models, those have already been posted somewhere in the thread (or the 2019/2020 PNSO thread), this isn't new info. Though it is nice to see them being brought up again.
As to whether or not they'll stay the same size on the final product remains a mystery. Though like Over9K said it is very possible that these are merely just prototypes for the actual figures.

Mentioned in another thread, but since it's of more general interest, rumor has it that there'll be a new PNSO figure revealed roughly every week until February. That's--a lot of dinosaurs.

Who started that rumor? It would be nice to see their 2021 range before I splurge on all these for 2020.

I heard this from avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy and V @vampiredesign both of whom are in a better position to know than I am.

I was unaware that those large models were posted already some time ago. Maybe the information I saw on instagram was wrong. My bad, but hopefully PNSO are bringing them back, I noticed quite a bit of people are interested in them.

This is the conversation I was referencing. I've selected the relevant bits of the convo.

PNSO: "接下来会一周至少一个新品"
"Going forward, there will be at least one new product ever week"

"一周一个新品大概持续到什么时候"
"How long will this arrangement (one new product every week) last"

PNSO: "兩月份"
"February"

I called that was a different sculpt! :D The head is looking up whereas both Sauropelta and Borealopelta are looking down.

Remko

That Edmontonia looks like the big black figure. Perhaps that was indeed the large scale sculpt on which the smaller production models will be based.

Mattyonyx

The "bronze" nodosaurid model is unmistakable as a Borealopelta. What surprised me is that the Teaser showed a silhouette of that model (and I have the suspicion that the view from above shared by paleofiguras belonged to that one too), but the actual figure is different. Same case with the Pachryhinosaurus...

Faelrin

Great to see an up to date Edmontonia after all this time. While I was hoping to see Safari do this one, I am ultimately just glad some company did (likewise with the Corythosaurus, and Lambeosaurus). Really not many options of it prior, with the Battat (which has been off the market for quite some time) and maybe the CollectA getting close. The coloration should go quite nicely with their other nodosaurids releases this year.

At this rate I'm going to have one heck of a backlog to catch up on next year.

Gosh!!! I recently took at my list of figures that I need to pickup at some point, and about 90% of them are PNSO. Guess I gotta add this Edmontonia to the list as well. Looks gorgeous but let's see what thise figure looks like in hand.

Shonisaurus

PNSO is making an extensive cast of armored dinosaurs this year, first it was the borealopelta, then the sauropelta, and now the edmontonia. I am sincerely interested in that company. I hope they also make some other hadrosaurid that is not only the well-known parasaurolphus and is the one for me desired tsintaosaurus at an acceptable size.
