It's the "Jurassic Park" Velociraptor. What a daring choice for Rebor. Because there aren't enough 1993 era JP Velociraptor models on the market already. Soooo exciting.  ::)

Takama

To be fair, the only good ones are by Papo. This one could be better.

I might get this, just because its part of a diffrent line then the others

Arul

Just want to remind you the title thread is typo, its golden not godlen :) cant wait for further info for this figure the pose is so cool. Hope there is no standing issue...

Shadowknight1

I...really hope I'm not the only one to see the name as a tribute to the man that first brought these creatures to life for us.  RIP Stan Winston, your legacy lives on.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

The first dinosaur I made here was a 1:1 JP Raptor, I named him " Winston" for the man himself that inspired me.  Your not alone.

Fluffysaurus

From a marketing perspective they are realy clever girls  :P. This way JP collectors that dont collect normal Rebors will collect Rebors too.
My Fluffy is red.
My beaky is green.
I am the cutest Fluffysaurus you have ever seen!

It may be the angle, but it looks like the skull lacks the fenestra at the back of the skull.

Thats was the first thing that came to my mind when I spotted the nickname.

:-[ I admit i've never heard the name before. I have no interest in Jurassic Park and at the time when my interest for Dinosaurs was starting to grow nobody knew who Stan Winston was (He must have been about 25 years old back then). "Caprona" was the movie that first brought these creatures to life for me :-[ :-[.

I was thinking of the brand of cigarettes when I first saw the Velociraptor's name ;D.

I agree with Takama. Gwangi is not incorrect that there's a bolus of 90s era dromaeosaur figures on the market. It's just that the vast majority of them aren't very good (Schleich comes to mind...). Depending on the cost I may end up getting this one to go with my Horizon T. rex.

Viking Spawn

I just wonder if this will come in different colors like their recent hatchlings?  You know, everyone wants a "Blue."  ;)

True dat!  It would sell BIG too!  But we all know, a certain toy company would probably never let THAT happen.   :'(

DinoG

I think Winston is a stylish piece, I really like it and waiting for more info

tanystropheus

How is this piece size-wise compared to its Papo counterpart?

yankeetrex

My opinion, but if they were going for Jurassic Park, they really need to re-do the head.

Mo_the_Triceratops_King

Looks great, cant wait to see the paintjob. I hope Rebor stops now with the little dino babies and we can see a bit more big bad a.. dinos again. :)

My dream is still a male Triceratops bull. And a Spinosaurus.  ;D

Shadowknight1

The sculpt looks really nice, just need to see a paintjob and a price.  I love my accurate dinos, but the JP monsters still hold a place in my heart and this looks to be one of the better raptors done.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?
