Blade-of-the-Moon

Pics of the new Papo Rexes from DansDinosaurs.com :

I think I also figured out what happened to the new Rex's mouth :

A steady diet of ankylosaur will easily do that.. lol ;D

The new brown " perching " Rex :

If you look closely you can see several differences in the new and old Papo Rex.  It's odd..it looks like the new one would have come first..it's quite a bit more detailed. The teeth are sharper..everything looks more crisp and not soft at all. The bottom jaw is different as well..it's not near as thick looking. All in all definitely worth getting it even if you have the green one.

One for the JP fans :

More pics from a JP fan in another forum :

Wish the green Rex had looked more like it's prototype :

Dan

The new CollectA Theri:

More pics on the blog review, of course.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks as good as the prototype pic to me...though  I do think it could more color..maybe it's a hen.. ;D

Lio99

Looks like schleich is trying to make figures like collectA and safari
The t-rex is so like the wild safari one,
and finally a veloceraptor!
I do not think they should make another quetzalcoatlus and sachania.  ::)

ZoPteryx

CollectA Theri looks great.   :D  What scale is it?

It's similar in color..but the head is a clearly Papo's JP Rex...same with the " Velociraptor ".   What really bugged me was decrease in overall size.. :/

Can you blame them? An articulate jaw (if done well) adds to a theropod model. Looking forward to those new schleich figures.

Meso-Cenozoic

Wow, this thread shrunk! ;)  There was a heck of a lot to move though, I'm sure!  :P

DinoToyForum

Yes, I just moved the first post( which was actually posted and maintained by Dan). I was really just testing if posts with multiple images worked.

Simon

Well, as the new 2012 figures flow in, it will grow - I am sure....BTW, how do you guys like my new look?

Takama

I just saw a Graphic novel called Xenozoic with those exact images.

Simon

Yes, the series was "Xenozoic Tales", which have now come out complete in one book, which is the one you saw, using the above Mark Schultz drawing for the cover ...

Really liked that series awhile back..I had a big TPB for it years ago as well. You signature looks great ! ;D

JPEngineer

What scale is that hypsilophodon family?
Building an Island off the coast of Costa Rica...

Come see my sale list in the classified section!

Mauro "Raptor86"

I'm just guessing, but maybe it is 1/40 to be in scale with the other models. They look really tiny

Takama

Its to scale with most of the Deluxe models,   I think Anthoney Beeson said that the family's are part of the deluxes

Primeval12

When our the Bullyland Mammals coming out?

Takama

Dan said they will come out in summer.

or to get technical, some of them are already out now on some online retailer
