Not sure if I like that poster... his head looks unnaturally bent, lol. And the poster for some reason screams to my dark side...

"Eat him! Snap him up! There's NO WAY it can get away from you! Go on! GET HIM!"
Jurassic Time is back... and this time, it will stay with you forever.

Jurassic Time... it can now belong in your own museum.

But do you know ANYONE who got into paleontology because of those kind of films?

Actually, the original Land before Time probably had some influence on me. Although I was already into Dinosaurs back then, so it likely only strengthened it.

And I just thought, how many people are going to think that that Gorgosaurus is a Tyrannosaurus? I actually won't be that mad, because Gorgosaurus to the uneducated eye does look like T.rex, but I'll be mad when the children or people in the theatre say that it is T.rex even after it is stated over and over to be a Gorgosaurus. That happened once when I went to the WWD Arena Spectacular a few years ago, some kids was saying "look an T-rex!" When it was already stated as a Allosaurus more than once.

Sounds familiar. I remember that when I visited an Exhibit. Heard it atleast for three different Dinosaurs: Frenguellisaurus, Carnotaurus and Giganotosaurus.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

SpartanSquat

I think Frenguellisaurus is a synom name of Herrerasaurus

Blade-of-the-Moon

Poster looks a bit wonky as far the Gorgosaurus looks...I mean just look at those hands.. lol

Actually we have a juvenile Gorgosaurus here and all the kids and adults call it a T-Rex..I do casually correct most that it's a tyrannosaur not a tyrannosaurus rex. We're still working on that one. ;)  Now a few do ask for info and I explain it. So we're getting some educational goodness out there. It takes time to train the masses.

Really most here call all the bipedal predators sharptooths or T-Rexes , the sauropods are longnecks, ect..I don't mind really young kids, the very young ones start out like this. I know I did, and it's easier on the adults to pronounce.

Well, the Exhibition had it as Frenguellisaurus. But you seem to be right. So Frenguellisaurus = large Herrerasaurus. The point however is the same.

It was especially annoying since they also had a T.rex head on display to show the differences between it and Giganotosaurus. Also, around the time of the Exhibition, Dinosaur King was broadcasted on TV, and that show stars both, T.rex and Carnotaurus in important roles.

Okay, back to topic: If the thoughts are good or bad probably depends on how well they are written.

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

I have no idea why they are calling Edmontonia an Ankylosaurus.  It will most likely be corrected before the the massive media push.

I love all of them, but for the Hesperonychus its wings look a little off.... I'll find out when I see the movie I guess!

My favourites probably are the Troodon and Alphadon. ;)

They're really good...I can see a lot of technical skill went into making them. Sorry to say, however, I really don't like the way the feathers were modelled on this one

It just looks really bad...the fuzz sort of looks superglued on :-[ I think it's good that they are including realistic feathered dinos, don't get me wrong. The rest of them are stunning.

Idk, maybe it will grow on me.

Balaur

I don't think the feathers look superglued on the Troodon. In the movie trailers it does but it doesn't here. Regardless I agree with tyrantqueen, they are all very cool. The Parksosaurus looked weired to me at first, but now its grown on me and I love it.

I don't think the feathers on the Troodon look bad in that image, though I think the scaly faces on both that and Hesperonychus look a bit strange...
In fact, I feel a lot better about the feathers seeing these images, after I was a bit discouraged by the original trailers.

Hey wait a second here - everyone in Patchi's family has a name, save for his mom. I'm expecting her to die off pretty early in the film.

Takama

That Edmontia reminds me of this Model that pops up in a lot of Books

 :o Awesome!

....... I just entered this thread for the first time. I've never been interested, because I thought this was going to be just a new 3D version of the old WWD stuff. Boy, was I wrong!

The more I am surprised now. I think I can clearly see the influence of David Krentz :). Especially with the Edmontosaurus and Gorgosaurus. I'm really looking forward to this movie now. The animations are wonderful.

I hope they're going to show this in German cinemas.

Balaur

Since its a worldwide release I'm sure that it'll be shown in Germany.

Spoiler: In the description of the character mentioned that their mother died and also Dustbull.

Oh, I didn't bother reading the descriptors for each. Well I guess I'm not surprised.
