I just noticed, why are there 4 fingers on the Spinosaurus mini?  ::)

Er, so when these guys go out of stock, what happens??
Please don't say I've missed the Baryonyx figure forever  :o

I doubt it, Bary is also getting a reissue in a playset.

Some sculptor was asleep at the wheel.  The big Legacy figure has only 3.

I'll be going to target later today, and I'll try to check Walmart too if I have the time. Brickseek is saying nothing is in stock for Wave 2 at any locations for either Walmart or Target, but I know that isn't always reliable either. If it turns out nobody has Wave 2 stuff in my area I might have to wait till next month to track them down.

I think amazon may have JW toys in stock for a long time, at least until christmas. The ones you may want to worry about is the exclusives.

Also, I have already seen JW:FK so I have something to say:
Spoiler
Parasaurolophus ARE in the film, it is just one scene but they are in the film. So what is Mattel excuse for not making a Parasaurolophus figure? >:( No Sauropods? ok, it Universal´s fault, but there is no excuse for not having a Parasaurolophus toy when they are in the movie!

Faelrin

So I read the spoiler and though I see the film tomorrow (hopefully), that makes me happy they are in.

Spoiler
I'm guessing they were the same ones in JW, with more of the red like these?:

If I had to guess though, they probably weren't saved, which will break my heart. I can only guess that they didn't make a toy of them is if their appearance was so brief when compared to the other herbivores, or maybe it was added in much later then when they were creating toys. Here's to hoping there might be one in the future, released alongside with that Styracosaurus and others that were seen. At the very least there's the mini for now (this also goes for Apatosaurus, and Brachiosaurus), so they didn't completely forget about them.

Regarding the convo above, also spoilers:

Spoiler
Even Sinoceratops, a dinosaur that was showcased in multiple scenes. 2 of them which are pretty prominent (waking up Owen, Carno fight) doesn't have a figure, not even a mini fig. So I honestly don't expect a Para any time soon, but Mattel could always surprise us  ;)

CityRaptor

Well, to be fair, that part seems to have to do with Sinoceratops originally being Pachyrhinosaurus. Was probably changed very late in the development process. Hence why Pachyrhinosaurus gets toys.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin If you wanna know about your guess, personaly I recommend you to do it.
Spoiler
They ARE SAVED, and yes they have that design.

Spoiler
The thing about Sinoceratops it that it was originally going to be Pachyrhinosaurus, but they changed that later, and Mattel had already done the Pachyrhinosaurus figure.

EDIT:
Forum member Jetoar has posted a video review of the roarivores Ceratosaurus. And he has teased future reviews of Ankylosaurus and Pteranodon
WAVE 2 IS COMING TO SPAIN!!
This weekend is toy hunt weekend.... >:D >:D >:D >:D

Faelrin

Well I got a good haul today, considering I picked up the last two of the Wave 1 Legacy Collection figures I needed at a Target, and I found my first Wave 2 figures today at a Walmart (all of the attack pack figures, one of each, although I only bought the Herrerasaurus). I was really excited about that since it does mean that Wave 2 is starting to hit stores in my area. I also picked up a copy of the Entertainment Earth Jurassic Park/World 25th anniversary edition, on my way to checkout from Target, which has some really nice images in there (and they even have a page dedicated to the toys). I also found the Imaginext Compies egg pack (and other baby dinosaur figures), at the Walmart, which I will hopefully pick up on Tuesday when I'm back out there again, since they scale pretty well with the other figures (somewhat). Held off for now to save money.

Here's a pic of everything:

Here's a pic of the Legacy Pteranodon and (young) Tyrannosaurus with the other two smaller Legacy figures I have:

Here's a pic of the Herrerasaurus out of the packaging (in my child sized hand):

And here's a shot of all my small figures together:

Spoiler
I'm really glad that some are saved, because it means there's another chance for them being in JW3, as well as a toy I would hope. If not thank goodness for Kenner's pretty film accurate one.

tanystropheus

Why does Herrerasaurus always look like a goblin regardless of the company making the toy?

Loon

It's especially weird given how little it looks like the animal in Jurassic Park: The Game. Especially since Mattel has said that it is directly based on that design.

Man i'd love a Gennaro boxset!

So what letter are the pachycephalosaur, the pterosaur and the rauisuchian!?

Those are supposed to be Wave 3 releases

ITdactyl

Thanks for sharing those pics avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin

I'll be getting the legacy pteranodon.  It seems to be a better display piece than the roarivore counterpart.

So that means there's another set of 12-ish minis? Because those are the ones I tend to want...

And I only just now noticed that the pterosaur is labelled...just wrong genus. And the second ceratopsian is not...it was late and I wasn't paying full attention apparently.

The pterosaur is not labelled wrong, Mattel repeated the Pteranodon for Wave 2 blind bags.

We have yet to see 6 mini figures: Pachyrhinosaurus, Diplodocus, Postosuchus, Stygimoloch version 2, Ceratosaurus and Dimophodon.
Maybe they'll release the remaining 6 as 3 packs? Or maybe they'll just release them along with a few others from previous waves

Faelrin

The remaining figures are probably a Wave 3 release. There's still plenty of other figures that are probably Wave 3 releases as well (such as the Protoceratops attack pack).

I found the Roarivores Ankylosaurus and Pternadon in a toy shop today but didnt buy them because I was going to eat with my friends later, and I didnt want them to see me carrying those toys :P
Unfortunately I could not go back after we finished.....BUT, going back home, I decided to take a look at a small toy shop near my house that recently opened, and....

How is that I could not find this girl after looking in department stores, big toyshops....But I could found her near my house in a tiny store?

Carnotaurus still hides from me though... Maybe it camouflages like in the novel....

With this only Carnotaurus, Mosasaurus and Indoraptor remain from all dinosaurs that I want from wave 1. If we don't count the exclusives Battle damage Blue, Legacy Pachycephalosaurus and Legacy Baby T.rex.

Loon

If the game proves popular, mayhaps Mattel could reach into Evolution for designs during the years between films: those Cystoni designs would make beautiful figures.

I'm just judging from the included photograph--that's clearly not a Pteranodon!
