I visited my local Target and Walmart. People are really cleaning up the aisles.

Target only had 1 Mosasaurus and nothing else.
Walmart had some of the less desirable dinosaurs (Herrerasaurus, Green Triceratops) and the Pachy with the non-Legendary paint job.
Pretty disappointing as I wasn't able to pick up anything.

patter15

just went to my local target and not a single item from wave 2 was out. Was really hoping to get a spinosaurus. Anybody know when those are supposed to be available in stores?

Gwangi

This has been my experience too. The shelves are almost empty and only some wave 1 stuff is in stock. But, they won't stay empty for long.

Appalachiosaurus

Unlike Walmart, Target apparently withheld wave 2 figures until the 30th. I'm sure we'll start seeing them trickling into stores in the next coming weeks.

Conure

Every store I've gone to has been nearly empty. Usually a few human figures, the mini dinos, and the vehicles. I even have family helping me out with the hunt and they report the same thing. Been relying on Amazon and resonably priced ebay sellers. I don't want to know how many times I refreshed Target's Spino page.

Over and over again I find myself thinking It is so wonderfull I don't care for any of the Mattels.
It got me to save so much money ... :)

Then find yourself another thread, thank you.

I have a collection of Mattel's figures put together that I quite love, and it has kept me happy in some of my darkest hours, and is another reason to look ahead. If I have to sacrifice some money (within reason) towards getting something I'll enjoy, then so be it, and Mattel's figures aren't the only ones. Granted I also enjoy my Safari Ltd and Beasts of the Mesozoic collection too, but as a Jurassic Park fan, Mattel's lineup hits a spot that I've missed out on for most of my childhood, and maybe even most of my life, and this is finally my opportunity to get in on it.

Everyone here has something(s) they are probably interested in collecting. Mattel's figures are just one of those things for me.

Anyways enough of that. For something more on topic, I just saw this on JPToys:

I'm so glad it's a thing since I still don't have those three mini figures yet, and they are ones I want (along with Carnotaurus, the weird Spinosaurus, and Pteranodon, the 2 Legacy mini packs, and the Indoraptor 3 pack. Edit: Also the Mosasaurus from the Matchbox Sub set, for Wave 3?), and Blue is metallic too, keeping with the trend of the other special figures. Anyone have any idea of when it is coming out? I know there's a link to it on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0777RZTRV/

Edit: Link to it on Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Jurassic-World-Mini-Dino-3-Pack-Pack-4/928756532?u1=&oid=223073.7200&wmlspartner=PxE*ot9VSWM&sourceid=37574619670941651524&affillinktype=14&veh=aff

If I had to guess this is coming out later in the year (Wave 3?).

I need stiggy(cant decide bw BD or AP, they pretty similar) a gallimimus, legacy dilophosaurus and the 2 legacy 5 pack minis. The later 3 have been impossible to find at my local Targets. Im worried that they wont be restocked by now and I refuse to pay scalper prices online. Guess Ill just have to get the minis individually and hope that  the excl. brachio and pachycephalo minis are rereleased individually as blind bags later on. Also cant decide b/w the larger roaravore carnotaurus and action attack stegosaurus. Im having some major money and spacing issue lately lol.

And space I bet! I am a minimalist in decoration but with a strong habit towards collecting complete collections. I know well the feeling of "pass" can is often much more rewarding than the excitement of gaining.

Does anyone have any info on the Roarivores balance issues? Neither my Allosaurus nor Baryonyx will stay standing for very long, and they lean over conspicuously for the few minutes they hold. Their legs are nice and firm in the sockets, no flopping or loose fits. My only guess is this is some sort of warping, as the Baryonyx in particular has trouble keeping both feet flat on the ground even when it does stand. I'm gonna remove the batteries and see how close I dare risk it with the hot water since I won't exactly be heartbroken if I do damage the electronics (they sound good, but SO LOUD). Will report results.

Has anyone seen any "wave 2" figures in Canada? Or any wave 1 legacy series figures outside of the Target.ca site? Sometimes Target exclusive series get picked up by other companies outside of the USA (EB Games most notably). Even the Toys R Us website doesn't have any wave 2 figures listed.

If it means anything, a leak for the 2019 line shows a stego repaint, so it might be a safe option to put on the back-burner for now (that's what I'm doing).

My Baryonyx stands fine, but I have its legs pushed back a little out of the 'lock' so that the head tips upwards (due to how I am displaying it). I think the issue with the theropod roarivores is that they are so top heavy (probably because of the electronic feature, and the small tails). That skinny tail on the Allosaurus especially doesn't help it. The Ceratosaurus I can have some luck with if I am careful about posing its legs and having it on a flat surface (instead of my rug or bed). In fact of those three, the Baryonyx gives me the least trouble standing. On display though I don't tend to have issues since they are crammed together and kind of support each other in some way. It's just when they are by themselves.

Even standing my Baryonyx practically vertical penguin-style to lean on the tail it won't stay up for very long. I think there is definitely some variation going on between them, as some people say the Baryonyx is particularly stable. Warping is still my best guess but if the water doesn't work I might even try some flathead screws in the feet to re-balance them.

Screws in the feet?! Before you resort to torture, consider raising the toe pads
- A dab of hot glue on each toe (or any cheap air dry clay)
- Those sticky back clear(or felt) cabinet protectors (cut to fit) (probably $1 or 2 for a bunch) the plastic ones are sturdier and may not stay, clean adhesivr off with alcohol ofcourse)

If i get any more I'll add some sand to the tail before attaching.
If anyone is wondering about museum putty, it doesn't stay firm enough to keep them standing for days and eventually peals off the jurassic app sticker.

Unfortunately those will only help create a flat bottom to each foot, they won't add any weight to help them balance. My issue isn't that the feet aren't flat, but rather that the dinosaurs lean forwards until they fall.

You're not alone.  The first few weeks, my Allosaurus stood perfectly, but now it always tips forward and too the side.  Light tails would definitely be part of the issue, nothing to help balance.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Great, someone actually listened to me j/k. A ball jointed Protoceratops neck just like the Dino Riders version.

The paint job (while not bad) is faded, it's almost like it begs to be repainted.
