Thanks for the Lambeosaurus link, can't seem to find what the international shipping rates are on that site, but if a number of other US sites that I've tried to order from in the past is anything to go by the cost of getting it here is probably more than the cost of the item itself. As I've mentioned several times in various comments last year I have pretty much given up on getting hold of any more older figures due to the combination of the over pricing of the figures themselves and the increasingly OTT shipping costs.

So, not really looking backwards these days, not when there is so much ahead this year! My current PNSO addiction costs a lot to support (thankfully into a bit of overtime lately), and there are quite a few releases from the other major brands I have on my ever-growing wants list.

Much appreciated for taking the trouble to source a Lambeosaurus though.

Some recent additions;

Found some more Mattels a few weeks back, it's rare to see anything new beyond the same selection of figures that made it over here on display wherever these are stocked, which is not in a lot of places. Some stores have downsized the JW part of the token Dinosaur section in the toy dept and replaced them with generic Dinos. Disappointing.

These new arrivals don't seem to be getting along in this pic...

One of the stores has a selection of Chinsaurs that they add to on a fairly regular basis so I had a rummage and this Triceratops stood out; its dynamic pose and extra character set it apart from the old-school tripod stance T-rex and tail dragging Stegosaurs. It's in an interesting pose, a decent size (about the same as the new Safari Triceratops) and seems to have fairly accurate feet! Who'd have thought. Doesn't seem to be derivative of any Triceratops that I'm aware of and no brand on the underside. Only cost me about $3 too.

avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria I also like a lot the triceratops chinasaurs version Where can you find this figure? It is a truly beautiful triceratops.

I congratulate you on your new acquisitions.

PhilSauria

It was in a tray full of generic figures among the displays at a local Kmart store here. I can have a look so see if there are any more if you'd like.

avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria Well I would appreciate it since I am interested in this figure. It is very beautiful That triceratops has left me bewitched by its beauty.

Bokisaurus

Coll new additions, that Chinasaur Trike I have seen before, it's interesting. I still see it once in a while in big box department stores, it would make a good repaint subject.

With my focus on PNSO at the moment I took down this group to do a family portrait of the PNSO Sauropods (+ prosauropod), moving to photo site B because of their size.

I would not like to tally up what it would have cost me to get hold of this trio!, but you can always make more money and in the mean time you have these magnificent Dinosaurs, especially as I believe some of these figures may be discontinued now? I'll do an update if I ever got hold of an Amargasaurus (Don't get me started!).

These PNSO's are really great figures, and congrats for having them!
It's a really sad thing that PNSO decided to discontinue them.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria I have the money prepared for the triceratops. When I want, I'll buy it for you as agreed.

Bokisaurus

Yup, those large PNSO sauropods are a sight to behold all together.

Halichoeres

Those sauropods (and the ornithopods, too) were one of the most exciting parcels to open that I can remember.

The lufengosaurus and the euhelopus of PNSO are immense. The most expensive of the trio of sauropods is the huanghetitan of PNSO. Fine figures, I hope to have the huanghetitan in the near future (I have it commissioned) since I had my prejudices for the size but I made a huge hole in one of my shelves to accommodate such a beautiful figure. In Amazon (no longer sold) the comments on that huanghetitan are outstanding and the one that Acro-man commented that they were going to discontinue that figure made me feel encouraged to buy it, because then the prices skyrocket. It is a very good sauropod figure and a size but immense not so big as other figures of other brands or rather it has a proportionate size not like the great ceratosaurus of PNSO that is an immense theropod and although they descatalogue feeling it a lot I do not intend to buy it. Takes a lot of space. I congratulate you on your three great sauropods.

New Acquisition (temporary!)

My wife was out shopping and with Easter coming up and knowing of both my sweet tooth and interest in certain long-gone animals brought me this.

I think that I can safely predict that this will be as extinct as its inspiration in a couple of weeks, if not sooner.

And out of the packaging...not sure of the species - Chocosaurus?

ceratopsian

You have a thoughtful wife!  That is irresistible!

Nice sculpt but I'm not wild about the color scheme  ;D

Collection overview.

It occurs to me that I have never posted images of the 'big picture' in regard to where I keep all of this stuff, mostly because up until the start of this year it was housed in a mis-matched stack of cabinets and shelves, however now I have a respectable shelf unit, at last. Some bits and pieces are sitting on various free spaces on top of boxes and in front of books and DVDs on shelves but I'm not going to worry about them.

The items on the big shelves are grouped mostly by species but there are some grouped by brand (Invicta, Favorite and Kinto). Part of the appeal of this unit aside from its sturdy construction was the open end to very second shelf allowing tails to stick out as required, and as it sits in front of a window having no back still lets the light in.

Part of the overflow extends onto the filing cabinet next to the shelves where some Mattels, an 'island' of Sauropods and a big (dusty) rubber Triceratops hang out, however all but the sauropods are living on borrowed time and will have to find a new home soon as this site has been earmarked for the PNSO Ceratosaurus when it arrives (all going well) in few weeks.

And the core of my collection, the most figures I have of any one type of animal, is the massive herd of sauropods that have taken over the top of the main bookcase in the room.

New stuff arriving next week (finalised a long-term layby at Mini Zoo) so a box of goodies due mid week.

BrontoScorpio

That is indeed a formidable collection.
Just pity I can't enlarge those last pics to better gaze at all you got -
I afraid my poor eye sight force me to just assume this collection is wonderful ...  ;)

PhilSauria

Thanks.

I'll have to find out how to make the images link to a larger version. Is that something that can be done through PostImage or do I have to switch to another host?, anybody have tips here?
