JURASSIC WORLD 3---JURASSIC PARK star Sam Neill posted a new photo of himself and Laura Dern. Their co-star Jeff Goldblum then tweeted his reply using his line from THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK, "Yeah, that's how it always starts. But then later there's running and screaming...". This led to fan speculation that the three might reunite for JURASSIC WORLD 3.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM was the #3 highest-grossing movie in 2018 with over $1.3 billion, so there's probably a chance the studio wants to milk the franchise for all it's worth with even more sequels.

We are getting a Jurassic World short film in august, a live action one:

When announcing the Nasutoceratops for the dual attack line, the representative from Mattel at toy fiar said that the Nasutoceratops "along with our Allosaurus are going to be featured in a short live action pre-roll that is going to be played before the new fast and furious movie". Whether it refers to the dinosaurs making an appearance as toys or as actual dinosaurs it is a little bit unclear but hopefully is the latter.

That´s interesting! If the dinosaurs appear as actual dinosaurs, then I guess I may go to the cinema, pay a ticket for the movie, and then leave when the movie starts.
Better be on Wednesday, since cinema is cheaper that day.

This is interesting.  A great way to keep people interested with something new for the franchise between films.

JURASSIC WORLD 3---director/writer Colin Trevorrow commented on rumors that Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill and Laura Dern are returning for the upcoming sequel, "I can confirm nothing. But nothing would make me happier than to be able to work with any of those people."
He also commented on if the sequel will be the last in the franchise, "I'm kind of a one movie at a time kind of guy, so my eyes are on this one. And it's a celebration of everything that has existed in the franchise up until now."

JURASSIC WORLD---Laura Dern commented on rumors she is returning for the latest sequel, " could never say no...I don't even know what they're cooking up yet." She added, "I met Chris (Pratt) recently at a restaurant and we didn't know each other. It was really funny; we ran into each other's arms and hugged each other like we were family! And he just seems fantastic."

BATTLE AT BIG ROCK is an all-new short film directed by Colin Trevorrow, premiering on FX on Sunday, September 15.

The short takes place one year after the events of the last film in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals becomes a terrifying fight for survival.

At least it's finally happening, and less then a week away too. Really hope the wait has been worth it. It'll at least be nice to see where Mattel (and Takara Tomy) got the designs for the figures.
