You're a little behind, avatar_LeapingLaelaps @LeapingLaelaps. There's now an official BotM tyrannosaur thread here:

http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=8526.msg252588;topicseen#new

Oh I know, I was just posting in case anyone in this thread hasn't seen that one yet :)

That Beasts of the Mesozoic sinoceratops is perhaps the best on the market. Thanks for sharing the photograph.

Could the "sub-adult" Triceratops work as a 1/35th scale adult trike?

Yes, David Silva has specifically stated that the intention is for that one to match up with the 1/35 T. rex. Very smart move on his part.

Except for the fact that he claims that his Subdadult Triceratops is 10.5 inch long (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/creativebeast/beasts-of-the-mesozoic-ceratopsian-series-action-figures?lang=es), an adult sized Triceratops measures about 8 meters in length, which will make the scale closer to 1/30.

But it is not the first time people claim their dinosaurs are 1:35 when in reality they are bigger than that. ::)

First pics of the parts in plastic now have been shared recently on the Creative Beast Studio social media accounts. Here's one such example:

I'm glad that the alectrosaurus is already being projected, a tyrannosauroid little known in the toy dinosaur market, by the way the raptor seems to be drawing the project.  ^-^

Can't believe nobody added this yet, but there's been another kickstarter update showing some of the new tooling pics, packaging design wip, and a compilation of the catalog shots.

I imagine there wasn't enough interest to justify having molds produced for them.

So there's been a new kickstarter update, and we get our first look at some test shots (first time in plastic) as well as some paint samples of some of the Wave 1 figures, and some pics of the WIP packaging designs. More pics and info in the link below:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/creativebeast/beasts-of-the-mesozoic-ceratopsian-series-action-figures/posts/2850568

There's also now a Creative Beast Studio Youtube channel for videos of the figures (and their progress) as well: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFa05ooiYenjltLyfaKZI0w

Also very important to mention that if anyone wants their kickstarter or backerkit pre-orders to have split shipping for each of the waves, be sure to message him there as well about it to be put on a split shipping list.

So does anyone remember the brown Monoclonius teased a while back? Well we finally have some fantastic package art for it (by Raul Ramos). The reveal of the figure will be on Sunday along with a pre-order announcement. And hopefully those that frequent here can guess what this and the brown Monoclonius color scheme is inspired by. I hope to add this one to the herd as well.

Fantastic artwork from Ramos as usual.Even though I've already gotten the KS exclusive Mono, I'm interested to see how this brown variant turns out.

Halichoeres

I'm a little worried that I'll like this version better than the KS version I already ordered.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres If that turns out to be case David could probably swap them for you. I know he helped with switching my order for the red repaint Velociraptor for Acheroraptor when I thought about it some more long before those shipped out.

This was the pic of this one posted a while back if it helps anyone (though it was still a wip at the time):
