For a second there, I honestly thought that first image on the "tail assembly" pamphlet was of someone dunking the figure in a cup of hot chocolate, like they were going to eat it or something. Gave me a good laugh.

I do not know if it has been commented before but in bigbadtoystore the news of ceraptosides are available in pre-order through the reservation link.

I apologize for a probably really stupid question, but this is my first KS campaign.  My pledge shows $55 for the young trike and $10 for shipping plus $70 for "Bonus". I am pretty certain I picked two more specific models.  Is there a way I can see what I picked now a year ago, something more specific than "Bonus"?

Thank you so much. That worked. I had more add-one than I remembered ....   :-\

You have no idea how excited I am about this. He's got the Protoceratops and Psittacosaurus in 1/18th scale now too. Shrunk down from their larger 1/6 counterparts. They are expected to come out sometime next year/2021. And as if it wasn't exciting enough that these are on the way, he has plans to do the raptors in this scale as well. I really hope to see not only Velociraptor, but also Acheroraptor (to go alongside the Triceratops, and eventual Tyrannosaurus), Dromaeosaurus (to go with Styracosaurus, Centrosaurus, and Chasmosaurus, and the eventual Albertosaurus, and Gorgosaurus), and Zhenyuanlong (to go with this Psittacosaurus, but also the eventual Yutyrannus. Hopefully Dilong follows suit in this scale as well, after the 1/6 version gets funded and made).

That's fantastic! Hope he eventually shrinks some of the tyrannosauroids as well!

Well, I need that. Looks like I'll probably be selling my 1:6 Psittacosaurus and just get this one.  Also, I hope the color scheme on the Protoceratops is different, I'll buy it regardless, but I'm just not a fan of the red and white.

Shonisaurus

Honestly, I really like that version of ceraptosides in a smaller size by the BoTM brand. Honestly, if they take figures of raptors and smaller tyrannosauroids, I would even be encouraged to buy those figures. Honestly, it is much cheaper and more practical to buy articulated figures in a smaller size to house them in the showcases of a collection in a much looser way.

I support BoTM's initiative to make smaller dinosaur figures. Glad they made a much smaller protoceratops and psittacosaurus, I wish all the ceraptoside figures in this BoTM collection would shrink and cost a lot less than their large counterparts. Not all collectors can afford to buy all BoTM figures financially.

I'm wondering how much these are going to go for. The Zuniceratops is currently the cheapest, so I would expect these to be cheaper. I'm also wondering though if these will be sold separately or together.

Looking forward to see if these 2 will have different paint jobs compared to their larger 1/6 counterparts.
Not a big fan of the bacon coloured Protoceratops, so I hope something different will be chosen for the 1/18 Proto.

Really excited to see if David will consider improving on the accuracy for the 1/18 raptors as well! I've always felt that the 1/6 Zhenyuanlong was a missed opportunity to depict the genus accurately. Others like Dromeosaurus could definitely use some proportion edits as well, and maaaybe tweak the Balaur's head-sculpt so that it resembles a bird more?

And since the 1/18 raptors are going to be so small, I wonder if David figured out how to fix the jaw warping issue that was ever so common with the Mononykus.

God I hope these will be sold separately.
Was very disappointed when David decided to pack the accessory-pack raptors together. I really didn't care for the Microraptor and the juvenile Stenonychosaurus, and I couldn't justify paying like $100 ($50 per pack) to get 2 figures that I didn't want.

Faelrin

I hope that they are separately too. I was also disappointed by that and passed on them (well between that and ultimately everything that released that year I got as well). Though honestly I would much prefer these to be consistent in color scheme to their larger counter parts (much in the same way I hope the 1/18 raptors keep their color schemes), unless he does a repaint version as well. It would bug me because I did order both the 1/6 scale versions and I would be expecting these to be the same as those, but just scaled down to pair with the other 1/18 figures. Unpopular take but I am okay with the Protoceratops current color scheme, and maybe not so unpopular, but I really do love the Psittacosaurus color scheme.

I agree that it would be nice to see the proportions of the Zhenyuanlong updated (smaller head, longer legs, etc). I think the Dromaeosaurus could make use of those longer legs as well based on some of the skeletals out there for it. I agree that Balaur should have a more bird like head.

I love that the Protoceratops and Psittacosaurus will be available in a smaller and more affordable scale. As for color, either going with existing color schemes or doing all new ones would by fine with me.And I plan on getting both,so I don't care if they will be sold separately or not. 8)

Same! I wanted the Mononykus and Buitreraptor. I was excited when they made first announcement about the small raptors sold without scenery and then that happened. I hope some of the small raptors I want are released alone in small version, not just Velociraptor.

Shonisaurus

I would not mind if all BoTM miniature raptors were sold together, as long as they were sold at a reasonable price I would be a safe buyer.

Faelrin

I was browsing the comments for the instagram and FB posts, when I saw that the initial releases of these will have color schemed based on the original but repaints are not out of the question as they will be much cheaper to produce at this size. I also saw that these will probably be in a two pack each with a 1/18 scale raptor. I think Protoceratops with Velociraptor is the most obvious. Psittacosaurus with Zhenyuanlong perhaps? That does make me wonder what other raptors will get the 1/18 treatment and how they would be packed together since that seems likely.

Interesting news. I'd rather have almost everything in 1:18 than 1:6. Might be a big trade-in coming up.
