[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

Nice to see the winners and honourable mentions up with the names of the creators.

Jetoar, I didn't realise you made Cruel Sea. That was possibly my favourite of the lot. Not simply because of the colours and theme but the way the whole thing was constructed. It was brilliant. I wished I could have made that myself.

Been umming and arring for ages whether to get the twin pack with Patchi and Gorgon (and saving a couple of quid in the process). I think it's about time I did.

I don't even understand why they sell them separately to be honest. Surely whoever buys one is highly likely to get the other one too. Not to mention buying them as separate pieces just means extra money spent for no reason. Is the average buyer really that gullible?

Good review by the way. :) No mention of pronated arms though, or is that an illusion due to the weird double jointed flexibility of the articulations?

I meant to mention the figure comes in a twin pack, I'll do that shortly. The arms rotate so they are not pronated :) Edit - I bought the two separately, but I'm using the excuse that I needed the boxes for review purposes ;)

That's true dedication there.  :P

I thought the arms were alright from what I remember seeing the figure in person, but my eyes were telling me something else looking through the review. Stupid lying eyes.

It'd be nice to see a review of the mini figures too sometime if anyone gets the chance. I know they aren't as exciting to many as the larger toys, but I'm quite taken with them for some reason. (Partly because of the gamble of not knowing exactly what you're going to get. I live life on the edge y'know). They're just quite charming I suppose.

Nice review, I've definitely been won over into buying these two guys now. And I'm really looking forward to the Troodon review. I really like the Troodon figure. How come you kept referring to Gorgon as Gorgo though?

Also I'd love to review all the mini ones (I only have 1 more to get, won't be easy) but I don't really have the time at the moment, nor am I a very captivating writer.

Also it's kind of a shame there's no 'Ultimate Patchi' figure, seeing as he's the main character and all. But nothing sells like a giant Tyrannosaur toy eh?  ::)

Gorgo, that's just my mistake. I wrote the Gorgon review only yesterday and managed to misremember his name already! I will change it.  If you find the time, a review of the minis would be welcome, even just a brief overview of the lot would be great, I'm sure you are underselling yourself!

Easy mistake to make, and let's face it, not as bad a mistake as 'The Dark Prince'. I'll see what I can do, just need to borrow a decent camera and say what I see I guess. That's if I'm not beaten to it. (Also it wouldn't seem complete with 1 missing figure, but the 4 Pachyrhinosaurs are all pretty similar so everyone would get the gist of it with 3 of them being reviewed). Creative writing was never my strong point though. Overly complicated, slightly confusing, off-putting awkward ramblings are more my thing.

Great review. This was actually going to be the next model I reviewed myself but this is fine too, I don't know much about ankylosaurs anyway.
