like dinotoyforum said, you are in roll! Good reviews!. Also what is the diference between the new series of the favourites and the old models. By my sight the opld models look better painted and more soft.

Thanks everyone. I've recently acquired some more spare time in my schedule. Add that to new acquisitions that don't already have reviews and you can see what happens.

The differences I think are mostly in the level of detail, the newer ones seem more detailed to me. That and in the case of the theropods the addition of bases. As for the paint schemes I think it is hit and miss. Some of the older ones have a better paint job and some of the newer ones surpass the older versions. Honestly someone that owns more of them could probably answer it better. I only have two older models and 3 newer models from Favorite.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

To you who write reviews on the highly acclaimed DTB, won't you write a review for the Schleigh Dilophosaurus? Even with its inaccuracies it holds a special place in my collection, being my second ever model.

I would, but I don't have one.  :-\

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Hmmm....would pictures suffice? (Actually, you probably would need to hold it to check out size and all, wouldn't you?)

Yeah, I only review models I have in-hand. Honestly though I probably wouldn't give it a very good review anyway. I know it has nostalgic value for you but I'm not a fan of the model myself, it has a lot of issues. We might have another blog writer who would review it or you could even take a crack at reviewing it yourself if you feel you're up to it.

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

I also actually don't think the model itself is very good, but like you said, it has nostalgic value. There are definitely some figures that don't have reviews that should, though (Rajasaurus pops into mind).

Yeah, there are a lot of older models that still need reviews too. There are really only a few regular contributors to the blog.

Georassic

My background is journalism, but I don't think I have the dino-expertise to match some of the other reviewers. Still, I am considering writing a review of the new Geoworld Velociraptor, which I picked up last week. It's definitely not 1:15 scale as advertised, and I have a few other observations about the specimen...

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

Awesome. I look forward to it.

The last photo!  :))

I think I may want that Plateosaurus now. I just need to fix the hands.

I very almost bought the Bullyland Liliensternus on a recent holiday. Kinda regret not doing so now.

I don't know how you could pass it up!  :)

I don't know, there was so much choice and it must have made me giddy and lose my marbles for a bit. I think I get drunk off dinosaur figures.

If and when I see one again, I'll get him.
I really really like blue things.

It was a novel surprise seeing that, I was expecting to just see a shoddy camera angle or bad lighting or something going by the first comments on that last picture.

Concavenator

Well...now that we know Safari's lineup for 2014...could someone review it as we have done last years?  ^-^
