Cool entrie of this obscure dinosaur  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

A new review by Libraraptor :)

http://www.dinotoyblog.com/2013/11/16/plesiosaurus-3d-puzzle-by-spiegelburg-coppenrath/

Nice review. I have both colour variants (assuming there are only two) and they are surprisingly good quality models, and fun to construct too.
I really really like blue things.

Now announcements from both Bullyland and CollectA are done, would it be possible to review them in the blog?  ;)

Actually, announcements from Collecta are not done, there are going to be a few more from what EverythingDinosaur says.

We don't generally do that until we have the model in hand and the ability to photograph it from multiple angles.

I think he is referring to this "review" http://www.dinotoyblog.com/2013/11/13/upcoming-releases-from-safari-ltd-new-for-2014/ :) Basically doing the same thing, but with the Bullylands.

I see  ;). I thought he was talking about an actual review.

jamesmount

All picture is looking awesome, because it's construction is so attractive.

Concavenator

Could some of us review the Suchomimus and the Megalodon by Safari?

Concavenator

And CollectA's 2014 releases,please?  ^-^

tyrantqueen

Anyone can write a review, I think :) If you're confident, go for it.

Megalosaurus

Please let me go out of topic for a moment:
Why aren't any new reviews in the blog? There are a lot of figures that need a review, i'm talking about those that are already available.

Are we, forum members allowed to post our reviews?
Which are the steps to do it?
Can we review any prehistoric model?
Can we review even a chinasaur? (Some deserve it, like placerias for example)
Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

You can write it, but you have to send it to Dr Admin for it to be posted on the blog.

QuoteWhich are the steps to do it?
Hmmm..not sure I understand the question.

QuoteCan we review any prehistoric model?
I think so. Although it's preferred that you review something that has not been reviewed before (and the review will probably receive more interest that way).

QuoteCan we review even a chinasaur? (Some deserve it, like placerias for example)
Yes. If you look at some of the older reviews, you can see some obscure chinasaurs were reviewed (such as UKRD dinos and Monster In My Pocket).

TQ nailed it with those answers. Any figure can be reviewed as long as it has not already been reviewed. You can send it to any of the registered authors to proof read and post for you.
A lot of our reviewers are no longer active it seems. I have a few I have been planning on reviewing but time has not permitted it. Also the reviewer generally prefers to have a model in hand to review so their budget must allow them to acquire the figure as well which is why it often takes so long for a review of a particular figure to be posted.

Well, that's not entirely true. Simon reviewed the Favorite Ltd. Triceratops statue again, even after Horridus had reviewed it (although I'm not sure he knew of the latter's review or not). So I don't think there's a rule against multiple reviews of the same model.

Dr.Admin said that more then one review of the same figure is allowed on the Blog.

I tried writing reviews for the blog lately, but my Grammar is not the best and they often need heavy proofreading that The Doc doesn't have time to do.

tyrantqueen

I plan to start writing again, but I have to get some interesting things to review first...

Yutyrannus

If no one else will I could try to review the new Safari Suchomimus.
