Megalosaurus

Thank you for the answers.

I'd like to try to write a review. I can do it, I've written mini reviews for figures in EverythingDinosaur site. But as you may notice, english is not my native languaje. So my review is likely to have a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes.

If no one else will I could try to review the new Safari Suchomimus.
Do it. Just take pictures of most angles, and do a close up to the head please.

TQ nailed it with those answers. Any figure can be reviewed as long as it has not already been reviewed. You can send it to any of the registered authors to proof read and post for you.
A lot of our reviewers are no longer active it seems. I have a few I have been planning on reviewing but time has not permitted it. Also the reviewer generally prefers to have a model in hand to review so their budget must allow them to acquire the figure as well which is why it often takes so long for a review of a particular figure to be posted.
Well, that's not entirely true. Simon reviewed the Favorite Ltd. Triceratops statue again, even after Horridus had reviewed it (although I'm not sure he knew of the latter's review or not). So I don't think there's a rule against multiple reviews of the same model.

I remember when that issue came up, here is the quote from Dr. Admin.

"I'll be honest, I didn't check whether the Triceratops statue had been reviewed before. The reviewer said it hadn't been reviewed yet and I took his word for it. Of course Marc reviewed it before, I sort of posted it without thinking. Anyway, no harm done on this occasion. I think though, in general, if there's an existing review and it is thorough, then there's no need to review it again. That said, if someone has a new perspective or some novel observations on an already reviewed figure, it doesn't hurt to have multiple reviews. Some of the old reviews are barely reviews at all, so they're all fair game."

My personal interpretation of that is basically, unless you really feel it necessary, multiple reviews should be avoided. Since we have a comment section where people express their opinions on the figure that was reviewed I think that suffices and multiple reviews would make site navigation more difficult. Also, why review something already done when there are plenty of figures that still need reviews? That is just my personal opinion though. I just write for the blog, Dr. Admin is the one you would really want to speak to on that subject.

Ok I've sent the Suchomimus review :).

Dr.Admin said that more then one review of the same figure is allowed on the Blog.

I tried writing reviews for the blog lately, but my Grammar is not the best and they often need heavy proofreading that The Doc doesn't have time to do.

Yes, I really appreciate every submission to the blog but I don't have the time to conduct more than a cursory editorial, so reviews that require significant revision tend to be put on the back burner. Reviews that don't require any corrections usually get published within a week.
