Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the mental image of using a dinosaur as a makeshift atlatl?  ;D
Check out my customs thread!

It really is sad that this had to be the inaugural Ekrixinatosaurus review on the blog. Oh well, here's hoping that one of the top companies will bestow upon us a proper rendition.

This provided a great laugh on a bad day. Thanks

Sorry to hear it was a bad day, but glad I could help a tiny bit.

Personally I'm rooting for Aucasaurus (and I'm looking forward to Wild Past's Majungasaurus)

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres , I suppose that this is one of the liabilities/hazards of collecting on the basis of 'best of' / one of each genus, if there's only one representative, you're stuck with it. Kind of like a Heathcliffian mad spouse in the attic scenario?

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Out of all people, I certainly wasn't expecting you'd tackle a review of a Rebor figure, but the result is nothing short of a masterpiece. However, I was so conflicted that I couldn't rate the review on the blog. When it comes to the actual model, I would give it 1 star, but on the other hand, if we're evaluating the review itself, then 5 stars wouldn't even be enough. Great job!  ;D

There is a David Krentz Ekrixinatosaurus on Shapeways.

Votes should be on the figure being reviewed, not the review itself.

Never thought a review of a dinosaur toy could be that salty. Can't say I've ever thought about comparing figures to melee weapons. It's not often I really laugh at a review, nice one.

That's a neat find! I'm going to be adding that to my Amazon wish list.
One of the (few) results Amazon brings up lists the item brand as "Flormoon". I don't know if it's legit, but that name does bring up an assortment of extant/extinct animal figures (many of which do appear to be bootlegs), so maybe Flormoon is the mystery manufacturer after all?

On that subject,  https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/532B1BEF-0025-41A0-94DB-26A9C4A83541

It's certainly an interesting revelation to find possibly the manufacturer of these bootleg figures

Fembrogon

Oh, dear, that's a LOT of bootleg listings. It looks like we really do have a name behind them now - or at least one of their distributors!

Python

At least now we have a name to tag them by on the blog, even if someone wants to do a review of some of their better knockoffs (like the KO Cephalaspis)

Always good to get a review of these terrific minis, avatar_suspsy @suspsy , before they totally disappear from the market and become impossible to acquire. This type of review serves almost as a 'last chance' reminder.

CARN0TAURUS

I want to thank you folks for the amazing job you do on these reviews!  The blog has become a really important resource to help me choose what I want to buy next, especially with the older figures I want to target in the future.
