Killekor

Yesterday I've received as a gift a JWFK Baryonyx!

I really like it; it looks really well made! Also the color scheme is really nice!
I've played a bit with the roar feature and I don't find a problem that it's jaw closes when you push the botton, because if you simply don't keep it pushed the jaw automatically opens again during the roar.
Plus, probably someone noted that in the second photo the jaw is closed. I didn't use any particular tip to keep it like that, I just push the lower jaw into the upper one and it remains closed (probably because in some way it remains stuck in the upper teeth).
Anyways, I'm really happy with my new acquisition!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Just skimmed this thread and was not disappointed:  a lot of info.  Thank you all for making this thread meaningful.

Another thing I learned is the pure Volume of the acquisitions.  And:  Hardly anyone mentions the challenge of space.  A quick Internet search revealed the typical dwelling of the individuals on this forum.  Another question answered.

My Dinostar Tapejara has arrived recently. A truly beautiful pterosaur figure! Looks really nice with Collecta's Supremes, though it's smaller.

Shonisaurus

It makes a good pair with the caiuajara de Collecta, said taperaja. I congratulate you on your beautiful acquisition. Recommended the tapejara of Dinostar and the most important thing that is very cheap in the eBay market.

PhilSauria

Andanna - looking at that house; if only!!, and very funny.

There are mentions of space issues on more than a few threads (maybe there should be a thread dedicated to how collectors deal with it) and I am probably not the only one who has part of what they have accumulated over the years boxed off and not on display, or in my case in one of those big plastic tubs / boxes with the small wheels on the base. The more high quality or favorite figures that I acquire the more older, lesser lights head off the shelf and into the tub (carefully placed there of course not literally taking a dive after being nudged off the shelf by a new arrival, which is how that might have been read!). Other collectors only go for smaller figures, just the one brand or just one example of each species as a way to avoid the over-population of plastic.

The way I look at it - you are only here once and time passes so quickly (more so it seems the older you get) so just enjoy these things while you can.

Ha ha, Robin has it about right. That is currently what my apartment looks like.

This was a spur of the moment thing, but also thankfully confirms that since this one was there, then it means the case that also includes the Allosaurus and Nasutoceratops has finally come to stores near me. It'll just be a matter of time before I find them.

Edit: Yes I know the colors are kind of gaudy, but I'm okay with it. It still displays fine with the rest of the Mattel theropods I have in my collection.

i just built a new space for mine. But past that Im just going for the dinos that I truly want rather than trying to complete collections full of models i dont even give a second look at

Fembrogon

Two giants from PNSO have arrived:

The boxes had a few battered spots, but the figures themselves were fine, and they are truly sublime. I don't know if have the space for more of these, but I want more all the same!

AcroSauroTaurus

Found a Jurassic World Nasutoceratops over the weekend.
I am the Dinosaur King!

These guys were awaiting me on the doorstep today.  ;D

I'm eventually going to write a review of the T. rex, but I've posted some comparison pics of the Ankylosaurus here:

The PNSO vinyl tyrannosaurus is an immense and very well made figure, I am glad that you have acquired it. It is highly recommended now that these figures have been discontinued.

On the other hand the ankylosaurus of PNSO I received it this past Friday and I can affirm that it is much better to have it physically than the mere promotional figures of baidu or the samples of photographs that many collectors send. Zheu Chuang is one of my favorite paleoartists and it is a gift of Life to have this paleoartist as a sculptor and advisor to the figures of PNSO, he is comparable in his genius to Dan Lorusso of the mythical company of Battat.

I got the Nasutoceratops thursday night (at a Walmart in NJ), and found Charlie on Saturday night (at a Walmart in MA). It was my first time encountering the new Savage Strikes too, so I'm hoping to get those sooner then Amazon, if I get the chance.

Nimravus

Today I received the Megalodon! Big figure! I am excited to have it! ;D
I will post some photos as soon as I have time

Nimravus

Today it was a bank holiday in Germany, so I had some time to post some of my latest acquisitions:

The Diprotodon from Southlands, the Edaphosaurus from CollectA ( ;D) and the Compsognathus from Papo, along with some extant animals (Groundhog from Papo, Quokka from Schleich, Przewalski horse from CollectA and the Perentie from Southlands)

One shot of the prehistoric animals

I was in the States a month ago due to work and I bought some Battat Terra dinosaurs for a good price in a Target, the Acrocanthosaurus and Parasaurolophus. In addition I visited again the AMNH, which I love btw, and bought a soft toy of a Smilodon, from a company called CarlisleCo. Does anyone know it?

Then, some figurines I ordered from https://www.spielzeug-guenstig.de/ with the Spinosaurus and Animantarx from Schleich, Canotaurus and Borealopelta from CollectA, along with extant mammals (Schleich's Racoon and Three-toed sloth and Hare from Papo).

The Zhejiangopterus is added to this shots, but I bought it through Aliexpress

And finally this beauty, the Tyrannosaurus and Fallen Queen from Rebor!

I wanted them for a long time, but I got a bargain for both of them from https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/   ;)
