That thing is massive!! (Dan's channel is aimed at children so take that into account in regard to his presentation style).

I'm sure that I'll never see one of these things in my lifetime and within a couple of years it will have taken on the mythological status of the Battat Diplodocus, and probably command  similar prices!!

It should not be so hard to get hold of these things, well maybe in the case of this one but I just spent half an hour on the phone tonight, most of it on hold, trying to talk to someone at Target about the Battle Damage Plesiosaurus that is supposed to be in the store I rang, according to their web site, but the young guy I spoke to rummaged around 'out the back' and no go. Call back again in a few days when they may have new stock in, I was advised. Unbelievable! Between Mattel's poor distribution and inept retailers it is a wonder we have any of their product on our shelves!

The more I see that Brachiosaurus the more I want it!

Faelrin

He did a really nice size comparison now. I know we know its big, but honestly I'm stunned seeing it dwarf that Bite N Fight rex and the Mosasaurus yet again (and the Spinosaurus too):

Ugh, it looks pretty bad with the neck bent down. A real Quasimodosaurus.

Not much to do about that with a toy, I tried modding a Horizon recast kit years back when I first started and had a similar issue.

I was just checking out the Legacy Human action figures on Ebay and I was thinking how cool it would be if we got a Donald Gennaro whose accessory was a toilet.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

That was thought of last year lol  Not going to happen of course, but I would have totally bought an entire dino damage/destruction restroom with take  apart Gennaro.... ;D

Well my pal from Germany (same guy who helped me with the Lockwood set, that I've helped get other things too) found a Battle Damage Pteranodon. I'm paying him Friday. Also managed to get in touch with someone selling the BD Plesiosaurus over instagram (just in time with it), that I'll also pay on Friday. That luck today though.

Edit: Forgot to mention I got my Savage Strike quilled raptor from Amazon yesterday finally. And got the Pachycephalosaurus on Sunday. Will get pics of them here to post soon.

Alright first up is the Savage Strike Pachycephalosaurus. I kind of prefer the darker purple like color scheme this one has, even more so then the Legacy one that is film accurate.

Next is it with the Legacy Pachycephalosaurus (I do not own the Battle Damage one):

Here is the Savage Strike raptor. While this is mostly the same as the previous jumping raptors, with the addition of the quills, its nice to finally have this sculpt because it'll be good for repainting into the JPIII male raptor, which this sculpt would have been for,  but it got canceled sadly. I do like the color scheme on this though regardless, ditto with the purple Dilophosaurus.

Here it is with the two Legacy jumping raptors I have:

Here it is with the brown and yellow Battle Damage raptor:

All of the (Wave 2?) Savage Strike figures and their cards:

You really must have an impressive Mattel collection by now! Well done.

Half your luck getting hold of that Plesiosaurus! - don't know how much time and effort I have put into tracking one of those down over here, without success so far. Close to just giving up on it.

That Pachy looks pretty good now that I see it in close up, another we won't see over here.

Why do I keep looking in on this thread (in the hope that someone has a spare Plesiosaurus?) - it just depresses me. Must be masochistic I guess.

Well the guy I'm in touch with in Germany found the Battle Damage Pteranodon for me, and helped me get the Lockwood set in the past, so if you want I can ask him to keep an eye out for a Plesiosaurus for you. The only catch is you'll need to get in touch with him on reddit if he gets it and I can pm you that information.

Edit: Also thank you. I'm definitely getting low on space for it now, and had to rearrange things already once. The Brachiosaurus is going to be tough to find a place to display, but may be able to squeeze it on the corner of my bed farthest from where I sleep on it (aka where my boxed Mosasaurus is for now).

Thanks for the offer on the Plesiosaurus but I have still a couple of options left open to me at this stage so I'll wait a little longer to see how they play out. Why do some of these things have to be so hard to come by?

Funny, we were knee-deep in Pteranodons at one stage, I was pushing them aside on the hooks in search of anything that wasn't a Pteranodon!

Faelrin

I hope you can find one. I thought it was supposed to be part of the case with it but honestly I have no idea what the distribution has been since the Pteranodon showed up long before the Plesiosaurus did, from what I recall hearing about. But at least some folks have found it there, so hopefully you'll have the luck of finding one. It really is a shame this one has been so hard to find with the demand so high for it. But nothing new either at this point.

I preordered the purple Pachycephalosaurus (probably should have picked it up in store but I got lazy) as I totally missed out on the legacy version (I never anticipated that it would be a hot item) and I love the way it turned out. It's interesting how purple has done wonders for Pachycephalosaurus but not so much for the Dilo.

i dont think it ships to canada

PhilSauria

Well I'm rapidly running out of options as far as picking up a Plesiosaurus figure and am very close to the point of throwing up my hands and yelling an (expletive!!).

Why are these thing so hard to come by in some countries - it's just not fair.

Faelrin

avatar_Toasaurus @Toasaurus Might be a good idea to pre-order the Amazon one and wait for now. Once they have more in stock it'll ship. It's where I got mine from.

Regarding the other option, doesn't Canada have Walmarts though? Could there be a Canadian version of their website you could get it from?
