The last few days I sat down and tried to research a little about the company "U.K.R.D.". I have written a short summary, which can be found on the website. As I write in the post, information about this company is rare. So if you have helpful information that completes the entry, then you are welcome to contact me directly. Otherwise, have fun reading :)

https://dinotoycollector.com/company/UKRD.php

I want to do this kind of stuff for all the companies featured on the website. If one of you has fun writing I'd be very happy about such posts. It'll take some time and there are still other things to do, but I wanted to do that while searching for these items.

Wow, that is a LOT of lead in those dinos! Even more in the old Imperial Plastics ones. Maybe I should start using rubber gloves when I handle them  :o

Do you plan on adding the original 1985 Bullyland dinosaurs by any chance?

They also had boxed sets of these. I got some but not all of them in a carded package very similar to the one you have for the Human Evolution Bullyland set. It had all of them minus the mammoth, plesiosaur, and ankylosaur, though I can't find any pics online at the moment.

D @Dinoguy2
Just a question about reading the paragraph about the lead: Did you understand that all UKRD models are interspersed with this amount of lead or just the old ones from 1986? That should not be misunderstood, it is only the old Dor Mei / UKRD figures. Otherwise, I would have to adjust the article a bit.

The old Bullyland figures are missing and that's due to the fact that I didn't knew about them. I will gladly add these to the database as standalone first, since they all have their own product number according to this add (which I love by the way). Do you know if these are 1985 items? The add says 1986 but I guess that's only for the add.

I only know as much as you do about lead. I'd assume it's only the old ones. But I have a lot of Imperial and Laramie dinosaurs in the garage, gonna have to make sure they stay there...

Thanks for adding the old Bullylands! These were actually my very first dinosaur toys I had when I was in preschool. They are stamped with 1985 and I'm pretty sure that's the year I got them as well, I think you're right that 1986 is just the date if the ad

It gaves me shivers when I read this article. I've read through all four blog posts considering dinosaur toys they offer and I still have an image of me playing with an Imperial Rex. Guess a lot of us kids back then were lucky.

Anyway, I've added the solo figures and the big sets. Wonder how they look; especially for the 175 pieces set. I left out the key chain and the pencil sharpeners.

I would assume those larger sets were mainly intended for retailers to stock bins, probably loose figures.

It's our birthday!

For me, it's unbelievable that an entire year has passed since this website went online.

Much work has been done in the programming of the website and I am pleased that the site has met with great interest in you. Meanwhile, the site is even considered as a reference, which makes me incredibly proud. At the beginning I was a little unsure how the site would be received by you, but for me it is a success.

After getting rid of many small bugs (which you have all been telling me diligently), the site became more and more user-friendly. Thanks to all of you!

But not only that was a big help. The active participation of forum members avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres  avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium  and avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji  in the database was probably the greatest enrichment. A year ago I really didn't think that the database would quadruple. And that still not all figures are covered yet, this fact surprises me now. I underestimated the sheer number of figures and companies.

But what would the database be without all the beautiful pictures? Thanks to avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian and avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres  who upload diligently pictures again and again. And of course to all the others, like avatar_acro-man @acro-man  avatar_Patrx @Patrx avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria & avatar_Crackington @Crackington  who allowed me to use their pictures from here. And of course all the others who wrote to me or sent pictures. Every message was a blessing. Even simple conversations away from the website, was always a pleasure :)

And finally Thanks a lot to avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum This forum is such a great place! Although I do not write much active, I read a lot and am very pleased about the friendly communication here. The blog is still the undisputed source of dinosaur reviews for me. For the correctness of my data, I always read the reviews of the featured figures, also to supplement them if necessary. 1286 links to reviews from dinotoyblog.com are linked at the moment. That's a massive number! And I think it's a big help for every collector.

I'm not stopping writing here. I would like to end my post with a brief review of the small milestones and a statistical comparison from the beginning to the current state of the website:

03.10.2018 - The Website went online and there was only me as an user and one test account.
09.10.2018 - The first user registered and started to manage his/her collection
23.10.2018 - The first reviews from dinotoyblog were linked.
01.11.2018 - Enabled a page limit and sorting feature for the browse page - Yep! We had a lot of loading in the beginning.
17.12.2018 - There is now a complex filter for the browse page.
10.04.2019 - You wanted to delete your account? You now could and indeed - One person did do that  :-\
12.06.2019 - Implemented the News videos from Andys Dinosaur Reviews for a quick look on what's going on.
22.06.2019 - Rating, Adding, Wishlist feature enabled on the product page
26.09.2019 - The first post about a company went online (U.K.R.D.)

All of you, keep your (and my) passion that binds us together. Dinosaurs!

Happy birthday dinotoycollector.com! Here's to another year  8)

Speaking of which, what's on the agenda for the immediate future?

Shonisaurus

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Happy birthday and may your work be so fruitful or more this coming year. People like you are a gift for the DTF.

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Congrats on having your site reach a year. It's been very helpful for me to use so far.

Come to think of it though, there is perhaps one thing I could ask for about now. Would there possibly be a way to implement the same sorting feature that is used on the browse sections or the my collection for the wishlist? Like I think it would be good to be able to sort my wishlist by company, etc as I can do with my collection for example.

Congratulations for your website's birthday, DinoToyCollector!
It's a really useful website.
I have a suggestion: the rating option could be changed from 1/5 stars to 1/10 stars. This would allow a more precise rating.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium Thank you! Well, I still want to get all my things done from my initial list: multiple language support, share your own collection, export your collection to pdf or something like this and adding a certain amount of the same figure (what is already kind of working but causes a BIG error log) If you want to try this use browsetest.php instead of browse.php I'm really working on the website, promised  ;D
The major problem is my initial coding. I fix a lot of things you aren't aware of. So that is still my daily business with the site. That's why I'm glad there are people helping me with the "normal" stuff like database entries, pictures, errors and news. I had a great feature planned back in february but had a lot of personal incidents, which blocked my work (to be clear: loosing 3 beloved people in 2 months isn't easy) But I digress... I still have plans and will work on them.

Yes! I wanted to do this before but always forget about this  ::). I am going to do this within this month.

avatar_Killekor @Killekor I'm glad you enjoy this :) I can easily do this and I know why you want this. There is always this one figure that doesn't fit into 4 or 5 stars. Maybe I'll go with a half star rating. 10 stars could cause a layout problem  :D  IS this a poular request or should there be a poll about this?

Happy belated birthday to your site avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector your site is fantastic, if there's one thing I would like to say though, is can you change the 'Last updates' to 'Latest updates' please? 'Last' implies there's not going to be any more. Normally I don't mind though, but if you don't mind?

Thank you. I'll go check it out and play around with it, and let you know if I encounter any issues, or if it goes smoothly too.

Edit: Looks good and seems to be working fine for me so far. Thank you very much for implementing this as it will make managing my wishlist on here much easier.

Also a few entries for the Mattel Jurassic World stuff could be corrected or removed.

The Quest for Indominus rex pack has the wrong year. It should be 2018 instead of 2019. It should probably also have the Mosasaurus tag too, since it come with one.
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3248

The 2019 Battle Damage Pteranodon entry mentions that it is a repack, but it is not. It is only a repaint:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3384

This is a duplicate entry for the 2019 Battle Damage Pteranodon that is unnecessary:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3385

The Pterano Drone has the wrong year. It is marked as 2019 when it should be 2018:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3247

This 2019 Roarivores Pteranodon entry is unnecessary as there is no such product:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3323

The 2018 Attack Pack Minmi has the wrong year as well. Should be 2018 instead of 2019:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3255

The original 2018 Battle Damage Stygimoloch "Stiggy" is tagged as 2019 when it should be 2018:

The Battle Damage Tyrannosaurus and Monolophosaurus set is tagged as 2019 when it should be 2018:
https://dinotoycollector.com/Items/product.php?product_id=3027

The Sinoceratops Roarivore is tagged as 2019 when it should be 2018:
