Thanks avatar_Thialfi @Thialfi!  So it's still not possible to log in?  I was thinking of making an account on that site but I won't if it's not possible to log in.

Concavenator

avatar_Sim @Sim yes, you can log in now, it appears on the "News" section because the log in was disabled for some time earlier this year, but it's been quite some time since it was fixed.

I agree with folks here that the disabled login message should be correct, or removed because it is confusing folks.

Also while digging for more info on the forum regarding this version of the Mandschurosaurus I came across this old post with a deviantart link of the sculptor for many of Mojo's prehistoric models, and others. So I guess I'll be adding their name into the info of the figures (where applicable), but well after I get the rest of the missing images, figures, or corrections to the Mojo figures done.

https://www.deviantart.com/revenant-99/gallery (Do not there are some unrelated horror works within the gallery, in case folks don't like that or are grossed out by that stuff. I love it though)

What started with just adding the 2022 Woolly Mammoth and checking out the others by year out of curiosity, and then noticing some missing images, led to realizing there's things needing correcting, and missing models, when researching what I needed to add. And now I can give credit to the sculptor for many of the recent models. Quite a busy day, and I haven't even gotten to the other things I planned to add to the site yet. Though tomorrow I might well be back to packing again (didn't have the truck this weekend, so it put things on pause and gave me time to get things updated). But I like to try to be as thorough as possible to my best understanding.

So most of the 2020 figures have been updated now. I noticed that the 2015 387227 Triceratops has been erronously added to 2020's section (with just the word Triceratops as the product code). That one bares the image of the original figure, while the entry for the 2015 387227 figure is the using the 2018 repaint of it (which I pointed out in my response here earlier today ). Just wanting to relay this to you avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector. I wonder if you could just swap the images, and move the 2020 entry to 2018 where it correctly belongs?

Edit: Oh come to think of it, I probably should also share that I saw that the 2020 avatar_Everything_Dinosaur @Everything_Dinosaur blog post also shows the 2015 model with the other batch of new for 2020 models. Yet I've seen no retailer carry that model in their 2020 sections, or labeled as such. Very peculiar.

https://blog.everythingdinosaur.com/blog/_archives/2019/12/05/new-mojo-fun-prehistoric-life-dinosaur-models-part-2.html

Edit 2: Rather then dump everything here as another edit, I made a separate thread, but I'm plugging this here too. It's a guide to mostly all the Mojo Fun stuff from 2022 to 2011:
http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=10382.0

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector I caught a few more images that need fixed/swapped, and found some high quality replacements for many of the low quality images (including some of the ones I linked earlier in the thread here, or in the messages I've sent you). I'll break that down tomorrow, after finishing that reference guide.

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector Please disregard my previous messages regarding all the Mojo Fun stuff. I've fixed it all up (though may need to edit minor details such as year retired, measurements, etc), except the minis that I'll need to deal with after. There are a few images over that could serve to be replaced with some higher/better quality ones, which I'll list below the spoiler tag, but the rest is largely correct now, as far as the figures themselves go, and their original years of release.

Spoiler

2016 387226 Tyrannosaurus Rex:

2013 387158 Quagga:

2013 387188 Juvenile T-Rex:

Here's also a replacer image for the Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur series Alectrosaurus BOTM-Alectrosaurus:

I've also gone and added all the new 2023 Schleich figures (except the Shadow Raptor, unless folks want it, then let me know) earlier today as well.

Alright so I did yet another massive update for the Jurassic World 2022 stuff:

-Added the remaining Basic figures (12 inch)
-Added the remaining Basic figures (6 inch)
-Added the remaining Mini sets (just need to get codes and images for two of them)
-Added the 2021 and 2022 Sound Surge figures
-Added some images and codes for the 2022 Micro Collection figures

I may get a few minor mainline and Legacy updates done tonight as well. We'll see.

I can add it at some point, although I don't know if I'll be able to find a logo image. They also made a Psittacosaurus and a Smilodon, possibly others as well.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Thanks it is appreciated. I guess I'm just lucky I have time now to spend like all day, etc on this, well when I'm in the mood for it anyways.

So I did a big update on the Takara Tomy ARTS 2022 stuff, with more to come from earlier years (noticed there's quite a bit I've neglected on adding, including some Jurassic World Ania figures as well). I also added higher res images after finding them on this site:

https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp

And used the numbers on the links on the Takara Tomy ARTS to use as the product codes to add the new images.

Example: Y891380 would be used to help designate those from this Gacha series https://www.takaratomy-arts.co.jp/items/item.html?n=Y891380

Edit: Just got done a massive dump of Takara Tomy ARTS stuff added now. Still adding a few more images (with what I can find). Not quite everything I found, but I accidentally close the page out after scrolling through over 240+ "pages" on the Takara Tomy Arts Gacha website. I managed to find figures from as far back as 2005! So guess I'll resume digging through tomorrow since I think after I get the remaining images up, I'll be done for now.

I think it is also worth mentioning that as a result of them being Takara Tomy Arts Gacha figures, the batch of recently extinct animals from 2016 (Dodo, Thylacine, Steller's Sea Cow, Golden Toad male and female, etc) have all been added. The set in this particular review. Mentioning this in case anyone has these figures or wants to add them to their wishlists.

Okay so I added some images for the older 2006 Takara Tomy Arts models. The main image from the website was really small so I threw it into an ai image upscaler, before cropping out the individual species out. Before doing the same for the 2011 figures I found this website that has great images of many of the older Takara Tomy figures:

https://ninjaaquarium.web.fc2.com/tta/genn_kyoryu/#7

Using google translate, I see that they don't accept their images to be re-used in online auctions, but I wonder if they would be okay with using them on this website? Assuming they would be, I could give credit to them for their images in the info boxes. They mention if one has questions to reach out to them on twitter. avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres If I recall correctly, you use twitter right? Would you be okay with reaching out to them here and asking if any of their images of the older Takara Tomy figures (and anything else if needed, such as older Kaiyodo stuff), could be used on the DTC website?

I think tomorrow I'll finish up the next batch. Managed to find the rest (at least on the website, no idea if there is anything older). Oldest set was from the year 2000, and it was a Disney Dinosaur themed set. I dug down to page 284 I think before reaching the bottom, but it was a little bit higher up then that.

Also if anyone has an image of the Takara Tomy Anchiornis in their collection and would be okay with having it added to the DTC website too, let me know. I found out it was sort of a part of that 2011 set, available with the rest an expo event, and was exclusive to that event.

Oh and one other thing. About these figures:

https://www.takaratomy-arts.co.jp/items/item.html?n=Y954924

I know some of these were released (or re-released under Yujin)? Anyone have more info about these? Toyanimalwiki is kind of barebones in that regard.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Thanks. That's fine. I'll get to make an entry for it and uploading it.

Edit: Well I did yet another massive update for the Takara Tomy stuff. Mostly focusing on updating or adding some missing Ania figures. Still have a bit more of Arts, etc, to upload, but I'll probably do that tomorrow. Pretty late now.

I think tomorrow I'll get some Nanmu stuff updated that I've been behind on as well. Can't believe how many updates I've been chugging out as of late.

No problem. I've basically done an overhaul (though still in progress atm as I write this up), and did some digging to find many other older and retired ones I wasn't even aware of. Don't know how close to "complete" it will be once I'm done adding all the other older ARTS figures, etc, and today's newest JW set, but hopefully it is that much more closer. I also came across some Ania The Good Dinosaur figures, which reminded me that they also did some others back in the day (and Bullyland also made some that I recall, which might also be worth adding. I mean they are technically still dinosaur toys right?). But my main focus for now is the primarily Japanese stuff. I'm sure I'll get to those eventually however.

And yeah, I get that it might not be feasible to have absolutely every mass produced dinosaur and/or other prehistoric thing made ever on there, but I'm doing what I can to bring some of these up to speed, at least what I can find. I know after I'm done with the Takara Tomy stuff I'll be updating Nanmu's and then from there I will be taking a long break of sorts (aside from maybe any sudden new releases like from PNSO) probably.

Though just so I don't forget, I know I need to add the GR Toys 2022 stuff, and I might just add the Ancestors figures anyways, despite the limited availability, as they do hold the interest of quite a few folks here (such as the Edmontosaurus at least). I mean if the Dino Zoo figures are on there, may as well add those I guess. I also might finish off whatever else is remaining from Mattel's I've been behind on (or what also has yet to release, such as the 2023 stuff), including the Disney Dinosaur stuff I grew up with at some point, as I've been meaning to add those for a while now.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin - Maybe it should be mentioned that the all 2011 figures were officially made for the Dino Expo 2011. The Anchiornis was the so-called "secret figure" of the set.

Faelrin

#595
avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian Hmm I guess that makes sense. I suppose I'll fix that up tomorrow. The google translation to English of that link I posted earlier does seem to mention they were pre-sold there as well. Also perhaps worth mentioning the bronze skeleton is also the secret figure of the set. The translated link above also mentions the Tyrannosaurus skeleton (Bucky) depicted in the set was based on a mount also originally launched at that event in 2011, and the secret bronze coloration reflects the coloration of the mount.

There's also images of both pamphlets from what I'm guessing is the original expo release (with the Anchiornis present), and the regular(?) release version without it. Neither pamphlet does have the bronze skeleton on it however.

Now I kind of want to mention what a goose chase it has been on updating the Ania figures today. I thought it would be just a simple venture to research and finishing with the rest (staring with the 2020 Fukuisaurus and Fukuiraptor), but oh how wrong i was. One search revealed images of other things I was not aware about, and searching for those brought up many others (and product codes, as needed to add images, and well rather then simplifying things for myself, I want the actual codes for informational and archival purposes). If it weren't for the nap I took earlier, and some other breaks here and there, I would have been finished by now (or not, who knows). Nearly 3 am now, and well, I've still got quite a ways to go.

Case in point, aside from some of the 2022 stuff I recently posted about, I also learned about a golden Tyrannosaurus, some "campaign" give away figures, which can be read about here, and then there's also these sets I came across:

Ania Animal Adventure Pocket Ania Dinosaur Vol. 1

Ania Animal Adventures Pocket Ania Dinosaur Vol. 2

Ania Animal Adventures Pocket Ania Dinosaur Vol. 3

I also found out about some Tyrannosaurus and Stegosaurus posing plushies as well.

So much about getting to the Nanmu stuff today.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin - You're right. The dark skeleton was the second secret figure.
Just in case you're having trouble with the pics, I could take pics of all figures. This would just take some time.

By the way - the secret figure of the Dino Expo 2012 set (Dino Kingdom) was a Yutyrannus - the very first figure of the species.

Faelrin

avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian That would be appreciated. As well as for any others I've added if you have them (and the rest of those older Takara Tomy ARTS figures sitting in my spreadsheet for a few days now, that I should probably get to adding tomorrow).

Thanks for that information as well. Have yet to dig into researching that particular set, but I'll make note of that for when I do. Will hopefully get to that tomorrow after the Ania stuff (assuming the goose hunt finally comes to a stop). I did see two of those have been added a while back (and one has an image, which I think was recently added?), but the rest appear to be missing however.

Yes, the Tyrannosaurus pic was me, but don't worry, all pictures I have uploaded on DinoToyCollector.com so far were taken by me - no copyright issues ;D .
From the 2012 set I only have the Tyrannosaurus and Yutyrannus.

First I'm going to finish adding the ones I linked above though. Not much more to go though it seems.

And in case anyone wonder yes there are two Ania AL-07 figures in the line. Both the mammoth pair and the Mosasaurus were labeled as such. And if anyone wonders where AL-05 is, it's a whale shark. And I think AL-08 belonged to an orca set.
