At least the tyrannosaurus rex brown and the allosaurus of Papo repainted will be available in the market soon, which I see that unfortunately is that physical stores will take longer. But I'll wait for the months it takes. I save shipping money and buy my store all my life and some people whose treatment is worth its weight in gold as I have said many times (and I will continue commenting).

Except for the spinosaurus of Papo 2019 limited version that I will buy at the error of Everythingdinosaur the rest I will wait what is needed. Surely I will have all the figures of Papo at the end of this year, but as I say I do not care.

I really really wanted to love the new Spinosaurus like everyone else seems to, like I've loved quite a few of their recent figures (even the Baryonyx), but sadly I am not feeling it at all, there's something about it that just doesn't make visual sense to me. I think it's mainly the forearms, I can't get past how awkwardly placed they are, there is a great sense of movement in the hind legs but then those arms are just kind of grafted on there from a different pose, and a different creature altogether... I can't explain it... I just cannot animate it in my head... The individual parts look great but it doesn't come together... either I'm missing something or I'm just taking too many crazy pills. I must be, because honestly I think i prefer the overall look of the Schleich. I'm so confused.

That's because it is wading about. You can see it in picture #3 above. It's not really actively swimming but staying afloat and letting the water do most of the work.

Maybe I just need to see it in 3 dimensions, because to be fair in the images of the right side (with the hind leg lifted) it does look pretty fantastic. I think the problem is that the arms appear to me to lack the fluidity I'd expect from something moving naturally through the water, they are positioned in a manner that makes it look like it's standing on them, even if its not supposed to be. But I keep going back and forth on it, it's causing too much concern for me, i'm going to need to seek therapy once this is all over.

Well, bummed about the brown running rex. Thought they were a limited edition.
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

I guess the same thing will happen with the limited edition of Papo spinosaurus 2019. Thanks to Pako I have the brown Tyrannosaurus running from Papo said figure but I sincerely understand that this is due to a commercial strategy of Papo as mentioned.

How long should it take to receive a reply from ED? I left them a request for reservation of the limited edition Spino a couple of days ago (via the contact option on their site) but haven't heard back from them yet. Should I be concerned or does it usually take a few days to get a response? Thanks in advance.

Having gone through life looking to the States with envy at having access to products I couldn't buy in Europe, or having media released weeks earlier, it seems like Europe is finally in an advantageous position. For once I'm glad to be living here!

Hello everyone , I know this is off topic but , has anyone got their Papo dinosaur leg come off ? My dinosaur recently got his legs off from the joint line . Has anyone encountered this problem who could guide me fixing it ?
Do I use super glue ?

Since this is a new problem I met on 2019 , I guess I could ask at papo new for 2019 forum 😝

I guess you should start a specific thread in the general section, also telling on which Papo figure you experienced such problem.

And to think that I bought that figure for a much more expensive price, thinking that it was a limited version. (sighs)

It isn't the same patterning though, is it? I thought it was more of a plain brown in comparison to the limited edition one.

No, it is exactly the same as the original limited run.

I was also thinking about the fact that Papo does not differentiate their repaints from original sculpts on the actual figurine, aside from the colour of course. For example the 2010 repainted Velociraptor, which has 55023 as catalogue number, still is labeled as "55003 Papo 2005" on the figure's underside, exactly like the original brown Velociraptor. So this brown running rex, despite having a new catalogue number will still have printed "55027 Papo 2012" on, so the original one and this re-release will be practically indistinguishable.

Still don't know if I'll be picking this one up though, I keep telling myself that the green version is enough for my collecting purposes.

Kinda feel bad for those that spent hundreds on these. Reminds me of the pnso Megalodon that was sold for 300 dollars on EBay only for it to be available for 60 on Amazon a few weeks later.

Happened to be browsing online and came across what looks to be a Papo Brown Running T-rex in a lot of Papo figures. It says local pickup only but a year ago this would've been a steal.

In this case I was astute and I collected a PNSO megalodon for less than 40 dollars (shipping costs included in eBay). Now I will be more attentive to eBay or Amazon offers that involve a saving of at least 60 euros with respect to quite scandalous sales offers.

There are Chinese merchants who sell the figures in an acceptable and reasonable manner fortunately.

Going to the issue of Papo I hope that the limited version of Papo 2019 spinosaurus is unique and my greatest wish is that it is not sold years later for a ridiculous price, although as I said it would be interesting that all collectors, fans and even children had access to that limited version, but as has been rightly commented, Papo like the rest of the dinosaur collection and toy dinosaur companies is not an ONG.

oscars_dinos

any one know when it will be available on amazon
