I think that, as always, you managed to transform some great figures in true masterpieces avatar_Fenestra @Fenestra ! Your new customizations are all amazing.

Your repainted Deinocheirus is a mastodontic improvement over its original version. Its paint scheme has no competition with the original one, which in comparison is bad, and your customization on the neck makes the model simply superb. I always preferred the Safari version over the CollectA one, but your version is superior to both!

The Giganotosaurus is also an improvement over the original one, although I continue to prefear a more colorful rendition for personal tastes. You managed to make it even more realistic than the original model, and it's looks almost scary.

But I have to say that my favorite of your new custom figures is the Spinosaurus, mainly because I love color schemes like this one. Your color scheme (masterfully applied) suits on the figure perfectly, with all the contrasts between the colors which make a figure exceptional for my tastes.

Anyways, congratulations for your repaints! These new models confirm another time my high opinion of your painting skills.
I have a question: have you never think to start sculpting dinosaur models? I would be really curious to see how they would turn out.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Your repaints are wonderful!  :o
I am delighted with the new Giganotosaurus colours from Safari, that is a figurine whose colours are very natural for a predator like it, but you have improved them a lot! Congrats!

Stegotyranno420

Your Giganotosaurus makes even the EoFauna one looks mediocre! Amazing!

:D  The Deinocheirus is awesome! I wish CollectA would see this. Very beautiful!
        Now THIS is constructive criticism.

Halichoeres

Wonderful repaints. I'm especially enamored of the Deinocheirus.

Finished this little diorama "up a tree" last night, featuring the Papo Dilophosaurus.
The jungle scene is made from scratch. The little raptor was a Tamiya Velociraptor model.

You must have had fun doing this. It's fascinating - I can feel the tension emanating from both parties in the diorama.

Jurassic Staredown!  ;D

avatar_Fenestra @Fenestra  So how about the lizard figurine. And also, is this supposed to be based on a realistic early Jurassic scene or something for fun

Justin_

Did you make all the plants yourself?

I don't know much about the lizard. All I know is that its name is Nemo.  ;D
All the things I make and paint are just for fun. I'm not aiming for realistic scenes. It's all just my fantasy.

I made the tree and roots from Apoxy sculpt. The vines around the tree are made from rope.
All plants/ferns and leaves are cheap plastic plants purchased from Aliexpress.

I really like your Dilophosaurus diorama, Fenestra! As usual you did an excellent job making it, sculpting and painting the entire scene masterfully and obtaining an amazing result! Plus, I really like the scene that you represented!

Wow! I am in awe after taking a look in your work. It is truly amazing how you make even the brightest color schemes look organic and believable for the animals. The Caiuajara made my jaw drop and the Schleich Dracorex is another of my favorites. Great skills you got there.

Fenestra

It has been months since I posted some new recruits.
First up: Papo's Allosaurus with corrected hands and the spinal spikes removed. The colours are based on the latest Nanmu Allosaurus, because it looked so good I almost bought it. But because of lack of funds I made this "poor man's" version.  ;D

Speaking of Nanmu; this is their Carnotaurus. I altered the head a little to make it look slightly side ways and repainted it.

Next is the Tapejara from Dino Star. The colours are based on a "Primal Carnage" game model skin.

And for last, a small diorama I made using some Shapeways models. The raptors feeding on a carcass underneath the fallen branch were from Rarebreed. I don't remember who the seller of the grooming Falcarius was.

Oh great! Thanks for sharing. You mastered the kind of reworking Figures in the way i want to. I love what you did to the Papo "Velociraptor". I absolutely "hate" the original pose and colours. I thought about something like you did, because it was a present and to me, the original is really uglylooking.

Looking forward to your Future Stuff. I think it do not need to say too much to your newest creations. They are outstanding.

ceratopsian

Interesting to see the Tapejara with a more muted colour scheme. It looks very good indeed!

Halichoeres

I love the new paint job on the Tapejara. Definitely beats the lazy airbrushing of the original.

I like your "poor man's" Allosaurus - such a relief to see the de-pronated hands. I coorrected the ones on my Papo Al last year and it makes a big difference. Couldn't bring myself to remove the spinal spikes at that time though.
