After seeing the new figures for the first time, I guess the designers consumed lots of bad drugs during the process. Sorry to put it that bluntly. The Baryonyx is the most decent one. Because I love the species I will get myself the Postosuchus, but nothing else.

Halichoeres

The Baryonyx isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but it arrives too late for me to consider it, as there are now a couple of really good ones to choose from.

Am I the only person here who thinks the Agustinia is a decent interpretation?

Have you read up on Agustinia lately? It may not even exist.

It exists, it's just so weathered and fragmentary that we can't distinguish it from other sauropods.

Just a question avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres; which is the least-worst in your opinion: the deluxe CollectA Agustinia or Schleich's version for next year?

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

I like the Postosuchus overall, except the skull is so shrink wrapped it looks like its eyes are bugging out. Kinda puts a damper on the whole figure for me.

avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium man that's tough, they're both pretty bad. In both cases the texturing is bad, the feet are wrong, and of course the "plates" are erroneously present. I think the Schleich figure's feet are even worse, but the CollectA's head is so eye-wateringly hideous that I may prefer the Schleich on balance.

I really like the Baryonyx. I'll definitely be picking one up once it's released. It's hands down Schleich's best model of the year. It's coloration seems inspired by the Jurassic World Suchomimus, which I love.

The Postosuchus is ok. Not the best, not the worst. I like it's appearance despite the inaccuracies. I might get one. It'd be a nice companion piece to Schleich's Dimetrodon and Dinogorgon.

The Crylophosaurus isn't really good per se, but it's giving me nostalgia-fueled Warpath: Jurassic Park flashbacks so I'll probably be purchasing that figure as well.

I'm going to pass on the others though.

Anybody know what size the Baryonyx is?

I'm not sure about the exact dimensions, but I know it's a bit smaller than a real Baryonyx.

I guess it will be much smaller than Papo's baryonyx by far. In any case, he is the best Schleich figure by far. His painting and sculpture is quite good and it is interesting to have it in a collection even if it is a toy figure because of its material.

Oh myyyyy, what happened? ;D After the last two years with some strong figures... then this?
Well, never been a big fan of this company, so I will just laugh at it ;D ;D ;D

I was hoping that at least the Agustinia will be better than the old Procon one, but... I have to say, the old CollectA/Procon is so much better IMHO with the exception of the head, but then again that figure is like 12-13 years old now and was one of the very first figure from Procon ;D

suspsy

Combined with Schleich's lacklustre wild animal assortment and their surprisingly bad horses, I think 2020 is their worst year yet.

I'd say the Baryonyx is one of schleichs best figures, and is definitely better than the Papo one

The Schleich baryonyx is superior from a scientific point of view compared to Papo's. Totally agree. It even looks better than Carnegie baryonyx but you have to take into account what material was made and the time this figure was made.

How bloody dare you, those look cool

IMO, While the other dinosaur models are underwhelming, the Baryonyx could be best figure of the species nowadays. The main contender would be the Favorite one, but I must say the one I own it's a bit of a letdown: the head is slightly asymmetrical, so the eyes aren't aligned; the lower jaw is curved and the teeth row on the left side is shorter than the one on the right side; plus, it warped pretty easily.
That said, I want to see the Schleich Baryonyx before judging it, all I can say is the picture is pretty promising.

Hopefully the feet aren't as large as the preliminary image makes them out to be. I remember that the eyes on the Schleich triceratops of two years ago seemed to be overly large in the initial image, but turned out just fine on the actual release.

I was about to share it.
Okay, I spoke too soon. Maybe it's better in person, but the toy in the pic  is way worse than the stock image.
