avatar_Sim @Sim Welcome back to the forum. I certainly agree with hoping to see a proper up to date Utahraptor get made eventually, but I am very eager to add this Deinonychus to my collection one day.

Utahraptor sculpted by Doug would be an amazing figure I'm sure. I would be happy if they release feathered (maybe I should say winged, because Yutyrannus, Tyrannosaurus and Coelophysys are feathered but not winged) dinos every year! all of them have benn hits for me, from the 2017 ones to this Deinonychus.

Safari is going to reveal their new products on facebook soon so I guess they will also be available soon, hopefully.

Doug's feathered raptors compete perfectly with David Silva's BoTM and are more affordable in terms of purchase, for example, his velociraptor and now his deinonychus are perfect works of art. They are masterpieces of PVC dinosaur figures. I hope that one day Doug will make a beautiful utahraptor that eclipses his discontinued predecessor in genius.

I suppose that in Europe this year Doug's figures from Safari will reach online stores in early 2020. In my case I will have to wait a little longer.

Sim

Thanks avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin!

Winged or feathered dinosaurs every year from Safari could be good for the next few years! There's lots of choices I'd like, e.g. Saurornithoides, Gallimimus, Buitreraptor, Sinornithosaurus, Utahraptor.

avatar_Ravonium @Ravonium A @Andysdinosaurreviews Thanks for the videos. They are all spectacular figures and larger than expected. I can't wait to make revisions of the edmontosaurus from Safari and shringasaurus of the same brand.

The deinonychus is sculpted in a hyperrealistic manner as far as pachycephalosaurus far exceeds all previous versions that existed in the toy market.

Fenestra

Man these figures look good!
The Edmontosaurus, Pachy and Deinonychus are absolute must haves.
Wonderful, wonderful!

Oh my! Those are absolutely beauties!  :)) Thanks for the reviews and unboxings.

Edmontosaurus: Superb, the beak is whoa, fantastic. I love everything in the figure. I need more hadrosaurids from Doug Watson, now :D
Pachycephalosaurus: Same, probably the best figure in the market. Love the colors.
Itchyosaurus: I really love it, perfect for my collection. Fresh colors, nice size. A must have.
Deinonychus: Also superb. Looks like it was alive, fluffy, just wandering around, vivid eyes ...
Shiringasaurus: Wonderful, but for the moment I only collect classic or most known dinosaurs and non dinos.

Jose S.M.

Just as I thought the Shringasaurus looks better in person. And the Deinonychus is a beauty. I want yo see it side by side with the Velociraptor.

The Prehistoric Traveler

Any tips on how to give that edmontosaurus hooves? I love that figure but the no-hooves thing will eventually bug me. Maybe a simple Hoof-like paintjob will do it...?

I am wondering about that myself.

Patrx

I am beyond smitten with that Deinonychus! It even has feathery wing digits :D I never thought I'd see the day.

The Prehistoric Traveler

That deinonychus is a masterpiece, plain and simple. I think feathered dinosaurs are Dougs specialty. To bad his Qianzhousaurus is bald. That means i won't buy it.

Shonisaurus

By the way from SpinoDude I just saw a video about the ichythiosaurus from Safari 2020 browsing the Internet. It looks magnificent! I have reconciled with the ichythiosaurus of that brand that saw it less interesting than the Carnegie and by the way I have seen that the shringasaurus of Safari is also another beauty and it improves significantly seeing it in person as one of the previous videos shows.

I pass the video of SpinoDude:

Really appreciated Safari will release the Sarcosuchus next year, and it looks much better than the one by CollectA.

The same does a sarcosuchus or deinosuchus scale Deluxe Collecta next year, but this sarcosuchus from Safari 2020 is splendid.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

A belated welcome back to avatar_Sim @Sim .

I actually like every one of these figures, with the Deinonychus and Edmontosaurus as standouts. Absolutely stunning work. I am honestly not sure if I have replies to this topic yet as I visit this a lot when I'm not logged in, but if I haven't I would like to add that literally my only disappointment is the lack of feathers on the Dilophosaurus. Other than that, they are all perfect to me (even with a hoofless Edmontosaurus).
I don't like video reviews so I'm not watching them other than to look at the size of a couple, but the Deinonychus looks beautiful even in someone else's hand.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Halichoeres

The remaining figures, except Concavenator, are now showing as "coming soon." Won't be long now.

I'm sure you will have Safari's Citipati by now.You will be happy to know that it too has feathery wing digits, just like this Deinonychus.
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?
