Anyone knows something about these?

http://www.ebay.de/itm/271060869424

They are obviously not what the seller claims them to be.

They look like 1960's Japanese clockwork models. You sometimes see the kits for sale but I've never seen one made up. I can't remember who made them now, possibly Bandai but don't take my word for it ;O)

ruel

Can anyone identify these?  Are they from the same manufacturer set or series?  They seem to be of the same quality and material, but I didn't acquire them together.
Thanks.

CityRaptor: I think they are bandai models. Originally they would have had a key to wind them. Here are the bandai styrac and iguanodon.

Any ideas? I couldn't resist them because they were so cute :) They have bobbly heads.

ruel

Thanks Seijun, but mine definitely aren't Bandai.  They're simple molded plastic with no wind-up mechanism.

Ruel: Sorry, I was responding to CityRaptor. forgot to quote him. His look like bandai, yours look like average dollar store figures.

Thanks friends!  I'll go check some local dollar stores to see if I can't find a match for them, and maybe others if they do indeed form part of a set.  They have certain charm to them, despite being of no comparison to higher caliber figures.

And I didn't know Bandai also made dinosaurs, though I do have more than a dozen of their giant monster/kaiju 6" figures from the Godzilla, Gamera, and Ultraman series.

Bandai makes lots of dino figures. Most are smaller size.

ruel

Hm, a quick web search turned up lots of Bandai dinosaurs, mostly posed statues/sculptures.  Would be neat if they also made poseable action figures in a size scale to match their extensive line of Japanese giant monsters.

Thanks for the id! Sorry for the late reply.

Any Info on that Iguanodon?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Dinosaurierset-5-teilig-/271076232176?pt=DE_Spielzeug_Action_Spielfiguren&hash=item3f1d670bf0
Looks pretty well made.

Also: Those are MPC Dinosaurs, right?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/190726843896?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

They look more like knock-offs of MPC than actual ones, but it can be hard to say. I can't recall there being a bright yellow run but it's possible.

Hi guys,
I think I've solved my own problem. I was doing my usual search on eBay for dinos, and I found this...

They're called Ani-mates Dancing Dinos. They've been discontinued now, but they came with a collector's card and base.

Well, they arrived today. They are indeed not MPC, but they are pretty close to the real deal.

So any Info on the Iguanodon?

amargasaurus cazaui

I took a minute and glanced at those dinosaurs as well. I collect MPC dinosaurs, quietly and have not said alot. I wonder did those have a makers name on them? They look very much like the figures marx used of MPC dinosaurs towards the end of their reproduction playset run.....do they happen to say marx on them? Is there a brand name given? I have similar figures that were  done by Marx, using MPC molds.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

CityRaptor

The is no name. Not even a China. All they have is numbers on their necks
1 Trachodon
2 Brontosaurus
3 ? presumbly Stegosaurus, as it lacks a number due to its short neck.
4 Tyrannosaurus
5 Kronosaurus
6 Allosaurus

This coelcanth is currently listed on Yahoo but there's no real info besides "rare vintage", anyone know who made it or if it's part of a series? And does it really warrant that price...I've never seen it before myself but $1200+ sounds a little steep.

I know this figure. It is a Iguanodon of fascicles of Disney dinosaur of Planeta de Agostini. I have this figure and more figures of this collection. I will share photographs of these figures  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
