Lovely review D @Dino Scream3232
Seeing the figure more in hand and in depth definitely persuade me to put it on my list of future purchases. Definitely less shinier of a paint job than I originally thought.

Can't wait to have my Gavin! It looks amazing. On a different note, the comparison with Safari's Sauropelta reafirms my love for it. In regards of the quality of the sculpt it's not that far behind Gavin.

My PNSO spinosaurus I will pick up today is at my post office for delivery. I am looking forward to having it, it is very nice.

Thank you avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus for the recommendation, I am looking forward to it.

I think after seeing photos i will be getting the Pachyrhinosaurus after all. I will be keptong the Battat in my special storage box along with my Tyrannosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus and Amargasaurus and sell off the Safari version and put this on my main display board.

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx I am very happy that you have been convinced by my recommendations, honestly the dinosaurs of PNSO, especially those of this year 2020 are great.

I wonder how this Sauropelta stacks up to Doug's 2015 masterpiece.
Not a fan of how short the spikes are :-\, seems to directly contradict fossil evidence. I find it weird how PNSO decides to add large keratin extensions to some parts of their figures (e.g. Pachyrhinosaurus's long frill spikes), whilst staying incredibly conservative on other regions (Pachyrhinosaurus's nasal boss, Sauropelta's signature spikes)

suspsy

It looks great, but I'm very happy with the Safari version. I wish it had been an Asian ankylosaur like Tarchia or Pinacosaurus instead.

I am honestly thrilled with this new version of the sauropelta on the toy dinosaur market. I really like the conservative color scheme and it's honestly going to make its Safari counterpart wonderful company it might have been more interesting with bigger defensive spines, although honestly it's an armored dinosaur made outstandingly by PNSO. I count the days to have it in my hands.

On the other hand, does Aliexpress sell it already? Although I also say, that Chinese dinosaurs also need some attention by PNSO this year.

Looks great as always with PNSO, but still no reason for me to replace the Safari one. That figure still is in my top 10 figures of my collection!

Faelrin

I wonder how it will scale with their recent Borealopelta. However I'm not sure why the famous shoulder spikes are missing?

I too have the Safari one, so I don't really need this one per se, but other then the missing(?) shoulder spikes it looks quite nice.

I retract my previous assumption about the Sauropelta. Turns out the long spikes were hidden by the cropping.

A very nice companion to go alongside the Borealopelta! I wonder why Gavin's eye look so weird in those promo shots because on the photos taken by members here that already own it it doesn't look like that.
Btw I was checking on Amazon and they don't have free shipping anymore on most of their items  :-\

Shonisaurus

Magnificent sauropelta. She will honestly make a very good match with her Safari counterpart. They are both equally beautiful and detailed.

I sincerely like those grayish colors that they have given to that sauropelta, by the way, when will it be available on aliexpress? Is there a purchase link?

Bread

Looks very nice, but like everyone else, I have Safari's so I can easily pass on this one.
Now, lets see what it looks like in hand. Sometimes their promo pics of the figure look better than they do in person.

ceratopsian

I have and love the little Safari Sauropelta.  But that won't deter me from the PNSO I think.

Remko

This is a very welcome figure indeed! I hope it scales with the Borealopelta, so it should be a little bit bigger.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I already have the beautiful Safari Ltd Sauropelta which is 1:25 scale, so unless the PNSO Sauropelta is significantly smaller, it's a pass for me. With this I'm guessing the Parasaurolophus and Tyrannosaur (which is probably Tyrannosaurus itself) will be part of this next year batch.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Flaffy

I find it interesting how PNSO decided to place the largest spike on the bottom row (of spikes), as opposed to the more conventional approach of placing it on the top row akin to the Safari figure.

Which is the more accurate orientation?
