Any word on price for this one? I just got the Papo spino yet this one seems more awesome!

Same as the Corythosaurus $38.99

Whelp, Looks like i'm gonna pass on this one. I paid less for the Papo one and I can't justify paying that much for such a small figure. I hope Safari will come though with theirs :)

I think having it scaled to the estimates of the particular specimen discovered with the tail makes sense as well. Not that others of the species wouldn't have had that kind of tail, and may have been larger, but it's good to have it mostly based off a direct specimen that those remains originated from.

Still even at roughly 1:44 that is a bit too small then I would prefer, but I still plan to get it because it is still a beautiful take on it. I guess it also works better as a younger sub adult specimen, assuming the 10 meter specimen with the tail was an adult.

What about the ~10 meter specimen fsac-kk 11888? The specimen where the infamous paddle tail was preserved.
What scale would the PNSO figure be if scaled to this spinosaurus individual?

Yes that's how I see it otherwise I would be dissapointed by the size.  :))

I caved and ordered it from Dan's. I typically like large figures but I'm happy its not as large as the first Essien. It'll make squeezing this in alongside the Safari model easier  :P

Another thing, is the back of the skull supposed to be that wide?

I think it's pretty close to the real deal.

Shonisaurus

By the way, I see that no one has noticed that this PNSO spinosaurus his painting is very similar to the spinosaurus Essien limited edition of 2020 whose painting varied and sold for about 400 dollars. It reminds me a lot of the limited edition museum version spinosaurus Essien painting.

I really hope PNSO will be doing more Asian dinosaurs in the larger scale. Tarbosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Therizinosaurus and Deinocheirus for instance.

I'm actually surprised they haven't done these yet, but stuck mostly to American and African dinosaurs.
Oh well, the rate they are pumping out new figures at the moment, who knows what will be here in a month or two.

All of those would be a dream to see from them.

Edit: Dan's Dinosaurs has the Spinosaurus up for $29.99, ending tomorrow (or the 9th). I figured I would pass this along in case anyone here is interested.

Yeah, I'd really love to see their takes on those. Hopefully in this line not the museum line, or whatever that was called. We'll see though, as you said who knows where we'll be in a bit. They'll probably release 15 new figures in the next week. ;)

If I had waited a little longer I would have bought in that store. I would have saved about two or three euros. Next time I will be aware of this store.

$38.99 US feels too pricey for me, even with free shipping. Perhaps I'll come to regret this decision, but I reckon I'll go with the still unrevealed Safari one instead. I know it'll be good.

I will probably be doing the same. Seeing it being compared to their Pachyrhinosaurus, I would have thought it would have been bigger for that price.

Can't wait to see how avatar_Kapitaenosavrvs @Kapitaenosavrvs will repaint this. I know he'll do it eventually 8)

Haha, noo.  I like this Paintjob and i am quite sure, that i would not be able to paint something with that Quality :D But i'll definitly Buy one. On the 11th of November is a Toys Sale on AliExpress (Need to seach a bit there. Theres always another price, but watch the Shipping ( which is normally low.)). I'll get a few of the new PNSOs. I Hope. Money. I want all. I cant. I cry.

Maybe this Sale is interesting for a few here. On 11.11.20 at AliExpress.

On hand pictures and some comparisons of the new Essien.
It is quite small...

It is mentioned that he is based on the 11 m specimen.
So still roughly 1/35.

Faelrin

Aside from some paint sloppiness on the head with the red on their figure, it looks fairly similar to the prototype. I'm really glad that it is.

Hoping I can order some of these in December if not January. Got a lot of catching up to do with them.

It is much smaller than the corythosaurus.
