PNSO 2021 Hopes and Dreams

The PNSO Nemicolopterus is one of my favorite figures. A life sized figure of a very small animal is rare with prehistoric reps. I would love to see this continue with their new medium sized line, perhaps even with a Hylonomus!

Shonisaurus

A life-size hylonomus would be great considering that I don't think there are many figures of that reptile in the toy market (if there is any). I would celebrate PNSO doing a hylonomus.

Nemicolopterus isn't a separate genus, but it does work very well as a hatchling Sinopterus/Huaxiapterus/generic tapejarid. I second the call for more life-sized replicas, potentially other hatchling animals (e.g. Beibeilong, Pterodaustro, Maiasaura).

Nemicolopterus was not a hatchling, it's a distinct genus. It also looks nothing like any Tapejarid. That's like saying Psittacosaurus isn't valid because it could be a baby Triceratops.

avatar_stargatedalek @stargatedalek, in the link you provided it says Darren Naish has argued Nemicolopterus could be a hatchling of Sinopterus.  Also, Mark Witton has said he thinks Nemicolopterus and Huaxiapterus are the same, here: https://twitter.com/MarkWitton/status/860230397317271552

And those are not Tapejarids. They (and potentially Nemicolopterus) are part of Tapejaromorpha, a much broader and earlier group. All of this assuming Nemicolopterus isn't a precursor to Pteranodontoidea and Dsungaripteroidea.

The idea that pterosaur chicks this small relative to adults would already have ossified bones and be self sufficient is entirely speculative in itself, let alone trying to apply an animal only broadly identifiable to a specific genus as a chick. Unless someone finds an actual nesting site of Sinopterus with adult remains where the young are clearly Nemicolopterus, or a clearly adult Nemicolopterus itself, it's going to remain speculation.

This argument could be solved with histological studies too. That doesn't require rare finds just one well preserved bone to study the inner construction of the bone.

Renecito

I want the huge vinyl series to make a come back with new species.
Anyway I want them to release at least at 1/35 scale the following:

Deinocheirus.
Sarcosuchus.
Therizinosaurus.
Carnotaurus.
Leedsichthys.
Quetzacoatlus.
Favorite Brands:              Favorite Dinosaurs:
1 - PNSO                        1 - Carnotaurus
2 - Vitae                         2 - Spinosaurus/Suchomimus
3 - Eofauna                     3 - Therizinosaurus
4 - Carnegie Line             4 - Deinocheirus
5 - CollectA                     5 - Gigantoraptor

Loon

I would really like the minis and the $20ish 1/35 line to come back. I think it would be cool to get a Theropod in the latter line, maybe even a Yutyrannus?

Halichoeres

Gentle reminder that this thread exists. For my part, I'd like to see some miniatures of creatures from the Jehol and Chengjiang biotas.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I just want them to start making any feathered dinos and pterosaurs in the medium size range.

Exactly, especially the pterosaurs.

Good point, I'd quite overlooked the threads existence!

EarthboundEiniosaurus

Would love to see them take a shot at some fossil mammals, either more extinct cetaceans or maybe the ever elusive Paraceratherium?
"Just think about it... Ceratopsids were the Late Cretaceous Laramidian equivalent of todays birds of paradise. And then there's Sinoceratops..."
- Someone, somewhere, probably.

Sarapaurolophus

I'd love to see a Bajadasaurus in the same scale as their Amargasaurus.
In general there should be larger models of all their minis. Their Microraptor gave me hope seeing a larger Sinosauropteryx or Cryolophosaurus next.

honestly,  Retire the bases, Move all the models with the Bases to the Medium line, and make more sauropods and theropods.

I'd love to see no more bases for all of their main line (I assume their medium line is now their main focus) , my only issue is stability with their future therapods. Unless they do something like they did with their 2020 Wilson Tyrannosaurus, then yeah I'd hope they remove bases from their therapods. Other wise, I am fine with a small little base for their therapods in order for them to stand.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I'd like the new main line to continue with Ornithiscians, and to include sauropodmorphs, feathered theropods and more marine reptiles and other non-dinosaurs. I hope they do a Gigantoraptor with actual wings.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

ceratopsian

I always like it when PNSO includes some Chinese dinosaurs in their lines. Caihong is near the top of my list. But I would also be thrilled if they ventured into mammals and produced a Repenomamus.

suspsy

I'd like to see more pterosaurs. A Jeholopterus either in the mid-size or miniature range would be wonderful.
