I'm so sorry Newt. It's hard enough to lose someone any time, but this year the grieving process is harder without being able to do funerals. I hope you're able to commemorate your uncle's life in a meaningful and safe way. Wishing you strength right now.

Thanks, guys. avatar_BlueKrono @BlueKrono - Gordon was a Grace Slick superfan, so we listened to some Jefferson Airplane albums in his honor last night. It's a very small gesture, but it felt meaningful to me.

avatar_Newt @Newt I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin I'm glad to hear that your father is recovering!

I thought I would give another update on how my family is doing so far. My dad is recovering from his time in the hospital pretty well. The drugs they have given him are helping him a lot. I think the first night in a while I heard him breathe while sleeping (he falls asleep in his chair while I play games on his Xbox) pretty clearly without wheezing, and coughing fits like the many nights before.

My mother is doing much better now as well. Coughs less frequently and less intensely as well.

I am feeling much better as well, and finishing up with needing to quarantine now. About the only lingering symptom I have now is the occasional sneeze.

Thanks, avatar_Creature @Creature. One of my good friends just lost his mother. A recently retired coworker of mine has also died. Another coworker is hospitalized with pneumonia; I haven't heard yet if it's Covid-19 or if it's some other respiratory pathogen. This pandemic is hitting pretty close to me right now.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin - I'm very glad to hear that you and your family are recuperating. I hope your conditions continue to improve.

avatar_Newt @Newt I'm so sorry for the loss of your uncle, it's a horrible year for everyone. Be strong and you already know where you have my support and if I can be of use, get in touch with me, as long as I can help you, I will be there. You have to be strong and keep in mind that we will all die for some reason, some sooner and others later. Console yourself that the loss of your uncle is just "see you soon". Time flies by and in eternity you will meet again with your uncle and with all your loved ones and friends. Cheer up!!
I also mourn the death of your co-worker, the death of the mother of one of your friends, and the hospitalization of another co-worker with pneumonia.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin I'm so glad your parents are on the mend. Take care of them, respect them and honor them as they deserve in life because you have an incalculable treasure with your parents, in short I am very happy that your parents are well.

I just talked to my parents and found out that three of my family members have died in the past ten days. I'm just... numb.
