A couple updates on calendars, postcards, and body 1 prototypes from Creative Beast's Facebook from last week:

QuoteAn update on the small figures for the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Tyrannosaur Series- the sculpting is done! Also known as the 'Body 1' figures, the heads are only about 1 inch each. Also completed are the alternate neck, upper arms, hands, tail, and legs. I'm very much looking forward to completing the prototypes for these last four figures!

QuoteAn update on the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Tyrannosaur Series printed goods: I'm sorting out the calendars and post cards now. The prints are currently in the process of being signed by the artists and I will begin shipping these items next week!

Thanks for taking care of the thread you two.

I'll try to get the op updated with the new Alectrosaurus gallery later tonight, along with the new head sculpt pics.

Edit: Should clarify I've been and will be busy working on one of my Skyrim mods in the meantime, but promise I'll take care of it before I go to bed tonight.

No problem avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, we've got you covered while you're busy/taking it easy.

I'll put some of the Alectrosaurus pics right here for those that can't/don't go on Facebook:

I can't wait to get the postcards. IIRC, there weren't too many of us that went in for all three sets...

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

I updated the op with the Alectrosaurus gallery as promised. Was thinking of adding the pic of the final finished sculpts, but I think I'll wait for those to get more individual pics (assuming they do). If not the earlier kickstarter ones should suffice.

Shonisaurus

By the way, the Alectrosaurus from BoTM can stand on its two legs and without the base? I am interested in that figure, it looks very pretty and very well painted.

ZoPteryx

I'm a little late to the party, but I just want to say how awesome it is that David was able to pull off yet another successful campaign!  A big thanks to all those here that helped make it a reality!  ;D  Looking forward to seeing the remaining figures finished, I'm gonna need a bigger shelf!  >:D

If you got any of the printed add-ons, be on the lookout. I got my postcards today, just haven't had a moment to open them.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

It's a shame I won't get the calendar in time, at least I bought a Doctor Who once as well since I expected this to happen.

Psittacoraptor

I've decided to skip the T-rex. Winter Wilson's overall shape and bulk still is the most appealing rendition of the species for me. Of course, now I'll have to redistribute that budget to other figures in this line! >:D

It's going to be very hard to decide what to add to my Backerkit. I won't be preordering anything from wave 3, that's too far away, but I'll definitely get something from wave 2. The Qianzhousaurus is wonderful, I've already added that. I'll likely add the Proceratosaurus, too, unless the prototype turns out awful, which I seriously doubt. I love the concept art and white dinosaurs are very rare. I also love the ostrich-like approach to the feathers on the Dryptosaurus. Unusual yet plausible depictions like that always appeal to me. However, I want to limit myself to one figure per body type and I've already pledged for the Yutyrannus... Decisions, decisions, this will be an exercise in self-control. :)

avatar_Eocarcharia @Eocarcharia Thanks for sharing the pics here. I'll get the op updated after I get lunch with some of these. Edit: Thanks for adding these on imgur too!

I've eagerly anticipating to see this one painted up since the kickstarter or perhaps earlier when the package artwork was finished and revealed.
