I'm probably only going to get 2, which is probably what I am going to do with the other 2 series. Right now of the revealed ones I want the Alectrosaurus and Gorgosaurus. I bet they will be expensive though.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

If I find them for a reasonable price, I will look for the Teratophoeus, Suskityrannus, Moros, Alectrosarus, and maybe Nanotyrannus.

If the figures I'm looking for cost $27 maybe I could obtain them over a few months.

They are most assuredly not going to cost that little. Even the smallest ones will likely retail for around $50..

I assume the smaller tyrannosaurs are going to range from a $40 to $60 price range? The 1/18th scale tyrannosaurus rex will be like $100+? Looking at the price range of his past figures, I can only guess these figures will all be somewhat pricey for me :o
However, just from seeing the color palette and sketches, I might as well just give them my wallet...

Also, any idea on when customers can pre-order some of these figures? Might have to save up some money.

There's no date for the kickstarter given yet. I would think next year perhaps, if not after.

IIRC, David Silva said the Tyrannosaur Kickstarter will commence in fall 2021.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy Oh I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the correction. I guess I'll add that to the first post.

Here's a recent interview with David Silva. He doesn't discuss the Tyrannosaur series much, but he does mention that he'd like to tackle stegosaurs next! That would be a very cool fourth series indeed!

He also says he'd like to do a series of prehistoric sharks! I'd be down for that too.

Juvenile Tyrannosaurus. Seems likely that the adult will have a brown-based colour scheme as well.

I am absolutely in love that he is using the earless monitor (which kind of looks a bit like a dragon) for the color scheme for at least the juvenile Tyrannosaurus so far. I'm very curious if the adult will be based on it as well, if not something else.

Edit: David confirmed in a comment on instagram (another edit: and on FB as well) that the adult would also basically be based on it too. That answers the tease within a tease then. That's so exciting.

Not gonna lie, I am disappointed by this choice. I find it too dull for Tyrannosaurus rex. I hope the adult version is more colourful than this.

Same, reminds me of Edel's Tyrannosaurus color scheme. I assume the adult will probably be similar, still excited to see the outcome. Sometimes the colors appear better on the figure than on paper.

This is true. We shall see what the artwork for the adult is like. And if we're being brutally honest here, it's far more likely that T. rex was coloured like an earless monitor than a rainbow boa or a coral snake

Very true. As much as I would love a coral snake color scheme on this figure, it would be more accurate in its current possible color palette.
I wonder if the 1/35th scale Tyrannosaurus is going to be similar in color to its larger counter parts.

Edit: added "color" between "possible" and "palette"

The regular 1/35 T. rex will be just like the juvenile and the jumbo versions,  if the Kickstarter exclusive will be coloured like the model from Walking With Dinosaurs. I'll have to see both schemes before I decide which one to get.

Darn, I was hoping for the 1/35th to be different in its colors compared to its larger counter parts. I may be interested in this kickstarter exclusive, thank you for the information.

I would have liked to see some more vibrant colors at least on the head. As it stands this also looks basically identical to the old Carnegie Sinraptor color scheme.

Yeah, I'm really hoping the adult version has more to it than the juvenile. If not, I may end up getting the Kickstarter exclusive version. Not a huge fan of the WWD scheme, at least not on the show model, but it may well end up more interesting than this.

We shall see.
