Doesn't the neck just back of head looks too wrinkly? I don't think it should be normal. Please Mr. Silva correct these little issues in the final model. The tail also bears excessive skin folding.
I believe it is supposed to be a speculative soft tissue structure such as "armor" or raised scales(?) Depending on what it turns out to be, it may be a plausible speculative structure for the animal. I guess we will just have to wait for the final sculpt!

As far as I know T.rex had very fine avian scales with smooth pebbly skin without any osteoderms or related structure in the body. But here I see that wrinkles are added at the back of the neck and excessively on the tail. I have studied on this topic after seeing this kind of skin texture of rex and keenly observed the presence of folds and wrinkles in the skin of some birds. I even contacted two paleontologists on this issue. They also hinted towards the presence of skin folds and wrinkles (but not osteoderms) in the T.rex body because it had a very tough skin.

Please answer.

K @Kaustav Bhattacharyya You should ask him on his Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter accounts that I have linked in the first post. I think his site has an email address as well that you can use. I don't believe he's active here anymore.

By the way the Bistahieversor and Tarbosaurus were done by different sculptors.

K @Kaustav Bhattacharyya Once again, I believe it's simply speculative, and because there is technically nothing contradicting its presence (and nothing supporting it either) he decided it would be fun to add. As Fealrin said, you can contact him directly if you would like to know for sure.

Just to note, if one double check's to see if any tyrannosaurus integumentary impressions lined up with the speculative structures, while some where close, none overlapped/ Because of this there still is technically no direct contradiction, even if it's likelihood is debatable.

I believe the T Rex is being digitally sculpted by Jake Baardse, so it should be similar to this

Another look at the concept art for the adult Tyrannosaurus! I'm lovin' it so far.

Flaffy

Choosing between this colour scheme, and the WWD exclusive will be a very tough decision.

I wasn't keen at first on the selection of the earless monitor as the colour scheme inspiration, but this is shaping up really nicely! Can't wait to see the finished artwork added to the thread!

Does anyone have interest in a pterosaur line after this iconic series? I am pretty interested to see pterosaur line where they can both spread and fold the wings in action figures.

Sign me up. Right now. Yes. I've always wanted articulated pterosaur figures that went beyond what has been done before.

YES. But first, let the current Work be ready and finished. Takes alot of Time until we get something in our Hands. Posable Pterosaurs would be really, really neat.

EmperorDinobot

tbh I'm more interested in superarticulated pterosaurs than I am on tyrannosaurs and their associated despotosaurids.

Dinoxels

They could make the wings the same material as action figure cloaks.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum, perhaps there should be a new thread to discuss ideas and desires for future BotM series. It's a good topic; I have some ideas I've been wanting to share myself.

Color scheme reminds me a bit of the feathered Safari Rex. It's pretty but doesn't blow me away.
