I think I'm content with just having the Matchbox versions of the Jeep and Explorer but this is a really cool set, I'm tempted.

It looks like the Dracorex is in fact not a new sculpt, unless I'm mistaken?

Agreed all around that this packaging is eye-catching and cool!

Oh that T.rex and Explorer pack is so awesome, I think I'll have to make room. I just have the 2018 battle damage version of that T.rex, can anyone confirm if there have been updates to that sculpt since then?

I feel like I've seen some reviews where they are all put together.  I'll try and look, if not I could try and make enough space to take a pic. I'm sure most are straight up repaints, but any like the Destructosaurs version and the new Extreme Damage are different to a degree.

Thanks Blade, I'll check some reviews out later today. Really, even if it is the exact same sculpt they've kept using, I'll be happy with a second extreme-chomp T. rex colored like Rexy, along with Tim and the EXPLORER!

I'm sad to see the reviews confirming the paint error on Nedry's jeep is just Mattel getting cheap on us. I hope there are zero "adjustments" to the paint job on that Explorer!

They did some updates to the sculpt in mid 2018. There was a revised version of the original that released later in the year (that had more detail/scales on the face, and fixed the issue with the tongue). Other iterations (the green Legacy one, or the 2020 brown one) have used that same sculpt since.

It seems they revised it again for (at least) the Extreme Damage version of it, in that it no longer has the chomping feature and has articulated upper and lower jaws instead (which I prefer). But going off some of the other images revealed (if not the initial one as well) through the Smyths store listing, it appears it will retain the chomping feature.

Duna

I've never owned a JP toy (appart from the Danone and Yolanda from 1992-93) and this might be my first Mattel. I absolutely want that set.

Bumpy ( sub adult ) and Ben set

ben's face looks like this
bumpy is so off? is that just me? its the head i think.

long as my heart's beatin' in my chest
this old dawg ain't about to forget :')

Blade-of-the-Moon

Why not just look at the clips from the show, seems pretty spot on to me :

As I mentioned above, Bumpy is older here so he's looking more like an adult Ankylosaurus but not quite there yet.

Probably also a result of the poor quality of these images as late. Not sure where they are coming from but probably have the same upscaling applied as some of the earlier Fierce Force ones, etc. Probably will have better pics of this and the other sets by next month I would imagine.

Either way nice to finally see this set. Probably the one I anticipate the most because I loved the episodes with these two.

Carnoking

This is gonna make a great companion set to Toro and the adult version of Bumpy!

I'm not sure this would particularly be of great importance to most people, but from all the hunting I've been doing for those Mattel Product Codes for the Snap Squad figures for the DinoToyCollector site (youtube reviews, Amazon, and Jurassic Bap's Flickr have been of great help so far), I've ran into what seemed like a confusing issue initially. There are different product codes depending on if the packaging is the tall variant (Asst: GGN26), or the wide variant (Asst: GKX72). I've managed to track down a few for the 2021 releases (and one from the Triceratops I've found and bought), but if anyone has had the luck of running into these perhaps they could contribute the codes (for either packaging, but please specify), so I can add them to the op?

Edit: Funny I mention Snap Squads as it looks like the first case of Snap Squad Attitudes is live for pre-order on Entertainment Earth now: https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/jurassic-world-snap-squad-attitudes-case-of-4/mtgxw58a

Thanks to Collect Jurassic pointing it out of course: https://www.instagram.com/p/CNsZot2l690/

The Extreme Chomping Spinosaurus is also for pre-order there, but it seems some folks have already spotted tags for it going up at Target (and there have been at Best Buy as well, which I spotted a while back in March):

I preorderd two Spinos from EE, if Target gets them in or I see them elsewhere first I can just cancel the order.  Sometimes they get items first but it's rare.  Also ordered the Chomping Toro because well..giant snap squad? Their kinda cute lol

I ddint order the Attitudes yet as the breakdown says 4 to a case but not which 4. This seems to be a recurring problem with EE.

So there's a five pack of the Micro Collection with a Stegosaurus (exclusive to the set maybe?):

And something I forgot to add earlier, the Bendy Biters (Shrinkwrapping: The Extreme Edition?)

Okay, now THOSE are some ugly toys. They look caricatured in the worst way.

I'd better jump on this and order one now while I can - never saw hide nor hair (scale?) of the previous releases, so don't intend to miss out again!

thank you lmao
they're appalling.
people get kinda annoyed when i call mattel out for doing dumb stuff, glad someone beat me to it this time ;D

how many variants of the spinosaurus have we had now? i would like to see one sold with the lost world kenner spinosaurus colours, that looked very cool and swampish.

Honestly, I do think the Snap Squads are generally pretty cute. Those Bendy Biters, though - eww. They bring out the worst elements of the dinosaurs' designs.

I believe the Camp Cretaceous Spino is the 3rd iteration: the 1st was the orginal grey Legacy release, and the 2nd was the blue Battle Damage one. Honestly, the CC version might actually be the nicest color scheme yet.

ah yes! very nice. I wonder if they'll do anymore. any kenner colour colour schemes are welcome...
