Well, that sounds promising!

Acrocanthosaurus
Happy to hear that confirmed, although I do hope for a bit of a redesign. I personally wasn't a fan of the JWE Acrocanthosaurus' look.
I mean, aside from the pronated wrists and the extra osteoderms to give it JP/JW-style angry eyebrows, it was a pretty accurate look, believe it or not.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

The head was bulky and tyrannosaur like and the skull shape was off. The rest was okay though, in that they gave it a proper hump and not a thin sail. Some modded attempts from different authors that hopefully show the difference.

Also I have no idea why mobile needs to double the size of a double space. I'll have to fix that on my laptop when I get the chance. Edit: Fixed now.

Really wish they start showing the aquatic animals.
Keep calm and love dinosaurs

Yes hopefully soon.

New feature focus covering how the building customization (as well as possible place-able park decorations? Kind of coy how they went about mentioning it, so I'm staying skeptical for now) new pattern and skin system works:

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Large predators not being able to hunt sauropods was one of the things I like when I was watching other people play. Shame this has gone away. I wonder though, if there's any point in getting the original game instead if it's still available?
That said I doubt I would get either.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Mellow Stego

I wonder why they're being so secretive with this game. They keep mentioning everything this game has and does but never show it.
I mean the first species guide was a triceratops. One of the very first dinosaurs you get in the first game.
Idk, Am I worrying to much?
Keep calm and love dinosaurs

Coelophysis species field guide posted today. One important thing of mention is that these will not be pack hunters and will not be able to take down large herbivorous dinosaurs, something that was a major gripe of mine from the previous game.

Spoiler alert:

The goat has returned!

I'm guessing we'll have profiles on all the initially confirmed ones from the trailer (and revealed on the website) before anything else new is shown, but hopefully I am wrong. So that pretty much means Nasutoceratops, Pteranodon, Stegosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus, and eventually the Mosasaurus I would think.

Really excited about Coelophysis in the game. One of my favorite dinosaurs, and they look fantastic.

They need to build hype by showing revealed dinosaurs before new ones. I think Nasutoceratops profile will be next

JWE2 looks promising at the Moment. But Mods clearly are also a reason, the first one lived so long. My main Interest in these Games is Building, not the Management. I am absolutely not interested in these Mechanics. I am used to drop hours upon hours in creating the Enviroment, so i will see. JWE 1 was very limiting in that case, even with Mods. But if there will be modding to JWE 2 again, so the Animals can be changed in less JW/P styled Animals, i would love that.

But tbh. i think that Prehistoric Kingdom will be the Game that is going to be perfect to me. At least with what i know and the many hours of gameplay i saw from the Alpha.

Looking forward to new Material.

Paying attention to the JWE subreddit pays off. New German article about some new stuff coming to the game:

And a video by Evolution Square on it, including some looks at the new game ui (which is faithful to the original's), the Gallimimus, etc:

Huh. That's a surprise. Didn't expect them to do a heavy hitter like Stego before the relatively unknown Nasuto. I assume it'll be either Nasuto or Galli next time.

Dev Diary #1 is here, and there is a lot to unpack with it. First going to get the list of returning dinosaurs out of the way:

Chasmosaurus (3:38)
Corythosaurus (3:05)
Diplodocus? (1:38)
Dracorex (4:38)
Pachycephalosaurus (4:34)
Parasaurolophus (1:22)
Torosaurus (3:34)
Velociraptor (hinted at previously, but now confirmed at 2:05)

Probably Albertosaurus, and Nigersaurus. Camarasaurus was confirmed previously in the Game Informer article. Images shown are placeholders for the guest system.

As far as weather goes, sandstorms, and snowstorms were mentioned.

There appears to be a new staff system, more details about the guest system (JPOG like) which also seems to mention something about lagoons (which might be visible in the background at 2:49). The risk of sabotage is confirmed to be back as well. There are also more looks at the dynamic behavior including looks at how the territory system plays out (such as fighting between Stegosaurus and Triceratops), and our first look at group/pack hunting.

There's a look at how building customization works, as well as the new system for scenery decoration. Might even be visual confirmation decorations for parks are here if one looks closely (such as at 4:24). First looks at the terrain painting system as well (more then just four textures this time around).

I thought the pachycephalosaur at 4:38 was Homalocephale, not Dracorex? Also it looks like species traits aren't going to be as directly customisable as they were in the first game, which I kind of like.
