Feast your eyes on the magnificent painted prototype of the upcoming 1:18 scale Beasts of the Mesozoic Stegosaurus stenops!
That colour scheme is nothing short of fabulous! And check out that head!
Here it is confronting its main enemy, Allosaurus.
And here it is with the Tyrannosaurus rex and Torosaurus. It’s humongous!
Preorder is planned for next February, with a projected release date of late summer.

Finally. A stegosaurus that is not green with red/orange/brown plates. (I’m aware of the haolonggood ones)
5 stars!
Very nice but it’s really too big for 1/18, like many of the BOTM figs. And the scheme is nice but i’m not in love with it…not a fan of the green plates. If there is a Cyberzoic version coming out i will look at that paint scheme, otherwise get this and repaint the plates.
This is by far the greatest Stegosaurus figure that I’ve seen so far! The sculpt work here is truly a masterpiece, and the paint deserves a chef’s kiss. I can’t wait to have it so that I can take pictures of this magnificent beast along with my BOTM Allosaurus!
It’s far too big and expensive for me, but I would definitely be tempted by a 1:35 scale version. Perhaps David Silva will oblige in the future.
Beautiful and you know I am getting this Steg, but I have to be upfront about one thing –
That Green on the plate edges is gonna be repainted red within a day of my receiving the figure.
