Looks like a slightly altered JW figure.
An oversized house cat.

Faelrin

avatar_Libraraptor @Libraraptor The figure on the right looks like a bootleg of the Safari Ltd Acrocanthosaurus, as the texture and anatomy is very close to it. Also think the Dimorphodon is a bootleg of the Mattel Attack Pack one.

My first part of October hauls. Next haul will be my Bday haul.

I'm starting to get Jurassic fatigue so I'm going to get myself a BOTM figure for my bday.

I have acquired quite a few since, avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin , not counting Star Wars figs, Batman figs, one Transformer, etc.

I'm going out in a little bit to find either the new Sinoceratops, Iguanodon, Rajasaurus (wave 3) or Triceratops (wave 3). I wanna buy them all in one fell swoop, but my funds are now extremely low as I'm no longer generating income. The store is dead, and if hired with another interpreting company (why haven't they responded yet? My interview was perfect), training would start after Thanksgiving. I think that for the time being, the next haul will be pretty much it until further notice :(

Faelrin

avatar_EmperorDinobot @EmperorDinobot Ah I'm sorry about your situation. That's rough. I hope you get hired or can find something else soon.

Here's hoping, avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin . It has not been easy due to my health issues this year. Quitting my former job in May was a really disturbing decision that keeps me awake at night, but I was really unable to do it. My anemia keeps getting worse and worse by the day, too, but I'm more able to do it now than I was then, so I hope I get some kind of response this week, because this weekend was truly agonizing. Waiting for a call, an e-mail, anything really. It's already the afternoon and nothing.

Looks like I'm not going out, either. :( Too rainy and nobody wants to take me outside.

Carnoking

The first (and probably only) Prime 1 piece to in my collection. Of course it had to be Carnotaurus!

Faelrin

avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking Congrats on picking that up. Price point looks to be quite around Nanmu's? Not bad at all. I wonder how that sizes up with Nanmu's.

Based on what I've seen, this seems more comparable in price to Nanmu's new standard Spinosaurus than their upcoming Carnos (and I did share some Nanmu side by sides in the Prime 1 2022 thread)
I too wonder how it will size up to those carnos but in all honesty this figure just affirms that officially licenses doesn't always mean better done.

Faelrin

avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking Yeah looking more at your pics, I think I can agree with that. And lord knows how many times Mattel has disappointed me in some way or another (looking at you HC Geosternbergia with no pycnofibers. Rest is nice, but man that is a bummer that detail got left out, considering it was ahead of the time, I think, or at least before it became common place to depict it).

I was wondering about the previous Nanmu Carnotaurus, aside from the upcoming new ones too. And speaking of the upcoming Nanmu ones, I am really tempted to bite the bullet even though I don't go for resin stuff much (or static figures that cost that much either), but dang do I like the black and red Carnotaurus quite a bit. Despite its short screen time I love the design of that one, and it definitely feels like a homage to the Kenner toy. Got quite a bit more on my wishlist to tackle before I think about jumping on this one though.

Fembrogon

Well, I wasn't intending to come home with some Hammond Collection figures yesterday; but when Rexy is marked down to $35(!) I can't say no. The Dilo was also discounted at about $8-something, so it was a double-whammy!

Rexy is cool overall. I'm underwhelmed by the neck and tail articulation - I wanted to recreate the climactic shot of the first film - but the limbs move pretty well, and the figure feels very solid all around. The eyes on mine are wonky, as others have noted; it's a great idea that needs improved implementation. The soft rubber in the mouth is a nice touch, and the paint apps look good. I'm also surprised that the foot & leg proportions are less of an eyesore in person. There's room for improvement, but this is definitely a cool toy, especially at the discounted price!
The Dilo, sadly, came out of the box with super-loose arms and tearing plastic on one of the ankle joints. Hopefully I can get it replaced; if only I had noticed before I attached the tail...

This big set of Kid Galaxy dinos arrived from eBay this afternoon, and more are on the way. I'm planning to review at least some of these for the Blog; they're not exactly great-looking toys, but I've been itching to analyze more figures from this brand first-hand.

...And then this lovely lot arrived from avatar_brettnj @brettnj moments later! The 3D set was the initiator when I was browsing on Mercari, but then I found the Favorite Fukuiraptor for a not-exorbitant price, and more goodies just kept following. The boxes in the middle are a set of larger Tomy figures from a "Colosseum" line I hadn't heard of before, but the Giga looked pretty enticing. The Deagostini Dilo and Dracovenator are charmingly goofy, and the Sega/Happinet figures are another couple of lines I've been wanting to start in on at the right opportunity. The chain and magnets were bonuses with the Fukui.

avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon Congrats on the double haul, or triple haul? Fantastic stuff you got there though. Surprised to see the Dilophosaurus marked down so fast. Didn't it just release at the beginning of the month?

About those Takara Tomy figures, I also only learned about those recently, when I was updating the Takara Tomy stuff on the Dinotoycollector website. I pretty much scoured the website, and I'm not sure it's everything. Should be most of it by now though. I still need to add images for those (and many many others).

Speaking about Takara Tomy stuff though, coming in my next haul from brett, I managed to find the male Golden Toad, Steller's sea cow, and Thylacine bundled together for pretty cheap on mercari yesterday. To be honest I was looking for more of those bath bomb figures (the Dodo in particular), and stumbled across it. Did a quick search on it, and it seemed like a good deal. Planning to send a deposit the 1st to cover the costs of some of what I have ordered through him, which how much has been adding up as of late.

ceratopsian

A rather battered box arrived all the way from Australia yesterday - but contents intact, phew!

And with the standard version that I already had:

Carnoking

That exclusive version is so much nicer. The books look great too!

ceratopsian

The lady I dealt with in the shop couldn't have been more helpful.  And as the postage for the model and either book was the same as for the model and both books, I couldn't resist going for both.  The smaller is factual and looks interesting, the larger is much more an art book with stunning (in a rather "arty" sort of way) photos: as the lady suggested, they don't really overlap other than in the most general sense.
