Does anyone have information concerning the figure that whether it will be a complete figure or just skeletal.

Faelrin

Wondering that too, but I'm also guessing they could be sculpting around it, using it as a starting point to get the anatomy correct as possible. Have to wait and see I guess.

I think an update is coming soon, it could be days or a couple weeks, IDK...

Jorgesaurus

because it was the anniversary of the discovery of the tyranosaurus rex, they would have given clues today

Halichoeres

I would be very surprised if it were a skeleton.

Why are you folks thinking of the possibility of it being a skeleton?

Anyways, based on this tweet, it looks like it will definitely be a figure:

Has anyone filled up the questionnaire yet?

Halichoeres

Yes, although I think the contents of the questionnaire are best discussed here: https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=10021.0

Does anyone can inform me in what geological formations except lower Hell Creek, the Tyrannosaur specimens can be assigned as Tyrannosaurus imperator? Although the classification of the genus may not have been well accepted in the scientific community.

It doesnt matter the species doesnt exist anyways

Progress on the Eofauna Sue Tyrannosaurus!

Looks amazing! I didn't expect it to have lips, but that's a welcome upgrade from the Giganotosaurus.

Lynx

If this is going to be the pose planned for the figure, I am very happy with it, even if a bit common among Tyrannosaurus figures.

Looks like it would stand out on a shelf. I have no complaints about the figure.

However, I am concerned about stability. I hope EoFauna will be giving it a plastic rod or base because it looks prone to toppling over, due to looking front-heavy.

It's a great sculpt (and with lips thankfully) but I'm not a fan of that JP roaring pose. If its mouth is to be permanently opened like that, I'll not bother. One of the appeals to Kiss for me was the closed jaw (although unfortunately has issues with the articulation mechanism, but the rubber band helps I guess), and the neutral pose, and of course having lips, which only the BotM also had at the time.

I guess Jurassic Park was the first movie to have dinosaurs roaring in it

What is inherently JP about this pose its completely neutral

Someone asked on their FB post, and Eofauna replied that the plan is to have a moveable jaw.  However, it was worded in such a way that it seemed like it was not a sure thing yet.  Personally I hate articulating jaws, and the the jaw and throat of this model look especially difficult to pull off.  But we will see!

Yes, it's a real nice and beefy beauty!  After they made the Giga, I took the survey and begged them not to have articulating jaws on future theropods.  I guess I wasn't the only one asking for a straight sculpture.  That said, I wouldn't mind if they release two versions of this.  An additional version with the mouth closed would be fantastic!  Everything I know about how these are molded the lower jaw is usually molded as a separate piece.  So it's not crazy to think they might sculpt two lower jaw pieces to release an alternate version of the same sculpt.  Two different color schemes  and the second with mouth closed would be amazing!  I can't wait to add this beauty to my collection.

Even if they only release the mouth open one, I'll be buying two, one for customized paint and one original.  I would also love it if they released the skeleton version!!!

I hope it doesn't, one of the things I asked them to stop doing on future theropods.
