You might be able to (temporarily) fix the balancing with the classic hot-water or hair-dryer treatment; get the legs soft enough to bend into proper position, then try to fix them that way before standing it again.
I've found running cold water right after hot helps the figures harden quickly again while holding the parts in place.

My figure shifts between "stable as a house" to "wobbly spaghetti legs", depending on the day.
Mine stood perfectly fine for a day and a half, then suddenly it can't stand by itself anymore. Very few of my PNSO bipeds can stand without support, mainly the large tyrannosaurs and "sinopliosaurus".

I wish PNSO would sell those supports seperately, I need some more for other figures...

They do. Check their amazon store:
PNSO Scientific Art Model Stand/Holder V1 https://a.co/d/4uoE0yU

Edit: Link looks weird, let me know if it works. Takes me straight to the app with the PNSO Stands.

I also didn't know that these were available separately. Thanks, avatar_Bread @Bread .

Yes, mine doesn't stand at all, from the first day.

Oh they do really ?
Awsome news, thanks Bread !

There is even the V2 with a big base instead, I'm going to pick this one.

Or you can have both base with all the supports as well:

Nice, thanks for sharing avatar_Bread @Bread . Saved the links myself just in case I need those.

I would have preferred if PNSO just offered the acrylic stands as they are included with the figures, I really don't care for those bases (or bases in general, not to mention those bases in particular are really ugly).

Halichoeres

Yeah, I'd rather just have the little clear plastic discs, but I suppose you could use the bases as a foundation for a reef or sandbar to display aquatic animals. The angular black plastic is kind of unsightly on its own though.

Remember that these kind of rubbery plastic materials are kind of "fluid" on the long run. The best way to fix their stance is to slightly "oversupport" them that they are standing on their feet but the resultant force will be in the opposite direction of where they would tip over without supports. After a couple of weeks their stance will "flow" into that position that may very well be more stable than the original.

This is how I fixed my running Papo T-rex. It always fell to its right side since its left leg was at the front. With enough support from under its belly, the left leg got way more pressure to hold the figure. This way its own weight have shifted the balance from the right to the center. Now it stands fine without any support.

Quote from: Sim on November 08, 2022, 09:39:35 PMIt's great to see you in a PNSO thread again H @HD-man! :)

Thanks! :) On a related note, it's been almost 1 year since I posted this in "My dino media wishlist" ( https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=9979.0 ):
QuoteA PNSO-published Natural History of Dinos in the style of Owen's "Prehistoric Animals: The Extraordinary Story of Life Before Man" ( https://chasmosaurs.com/2019/12/09/vintage-dinosaur-art-prehistoric-animals-octopus-part-1/ ): As you may remember, I love dino dioramas ( https://www.amazon.com/review/R3F47215A3OEHY/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8 ). As you may also remember, I love PNSO ( https://www.amazon.com/review/R3R6KZA4VWB8E6/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8 ), especially their dino models ( https://www.paleo-nerd.com/tag/pnso/ ). Gripes aside, said models are so detailed & realistic that they should be in museum dioramas like the Smithsonian's ( http://agathaumas.blogspot.com/2011/05/annual-report-for-year-ended-june-30.html ). I'd especially love it if, like said models, this hypothetical NHD was updated every few years (& thus, always up-to-date, like many bird field guides: https://betterbirdphotography.com/bird-field-guides/ ).

Also, it's been almost 1/2 a year since I posted my review of Chuang/Yang's Age of Dinosaurs: https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=2210.100

So they are making a Suchomimus after all. I'm sure that's a relief for a lot of folks upset with the Sinopliosaurus situation. Really liking the colors on this guy, although I almost wish they had given it a wider tail but I suppose to keep it more in line with Baryonyx than Spinosaurus.

Lynx

OH MY GODDD?
This is PNSOs first release, maybe in a year, that has actually sparked my attention. So long we have lacked a good figure, and its HERE.
An oversized house cat.

Duck

This is definitely going on my list
He who dwells in pond

Thialfi

Beautiful! Though I already own the Yvy Figures/Dino Hazard Irritator challengeri, which I feel looks pretty similar (if not better). Of course a different species, but aesthetically not different enough for me to warrant buying this PNSO fellow. Still a great model though!

Lynx

As a huge fan of Spinosaurids, and them being one of the few theropod groups I am still interested in collecting, I will be attempting to pick up all four of PNSOs offerings, including the repaint of their older spinosaurus. My only concern is that it, like the Deinocherius, may have easily scuffed paint.

An oversized house cat.

Eatmycar

That color scheme is, frankly, daring for PNSO. I'm impressed. Not impressed with a figure I need to put a rod under, but it looks pretty good. I do feel the claws could be bigger.
