Fully funded in the first 3 days is incredible! Looking forward to this

Little update. I woke up, but Achillobator not yet funded. That said we are almost there. Over $218k now. Just a bit more to go.

Cenozoic Fauna

Whoa! That was achieved relatively quick, fantastic it has been fully funded! Awesome to see the Deinonychus to, really cool.

Some great artwork (artists Lewis LaRosa, and Sunny Gho) of the roster planned for this campaign (minus Deinonychus and Desert Clan guy):

Blade-of-the-Moon

So a as yet unnamed investor provided the boost? Interesting.  Wonder if they are considering going retail?

dinofelid

Glad this got funded so fast, really looking forward to that Allosaurus! I like the coloration, the red and blue kind of reminds me of how Zallinger painted Allosaurus in his Age of Reptiles mural and again in the book Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Reptiles which was a childhood favorite of mine:

The artwork I shared earlier is now available as a print pledge tier (and maybe an addon as well, not sure, haven't checked).

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/creativebeast/cyberzoic-sci-fi-dinosaur-and-dragon-action-figures/posts/3928658

It's $50, and apparently only going to be available during the campaign, and not even the backerkit survey pre-order store stuff, shortly after the campaign. Not sure how that will work, so best to get this one now, or at least before the campaign ends on the 2nd.

Edit: Ships in Dec 2023.

Edit 2: Achillobator set less then a $1,000 away.

Edit 3: The kickstarter exclusive set has been revealed, probably since Achillobator set is almost funded now (edit 4: it is funded now). I'm guessing this is another Dino Riders throwback set.

Carnoking

Well can't say I'm enthused by that set but glad to see more upward momentum

Blade-of-the-Moon

I was going to skip the Sabretooth..but now it's a DinoRiders piece..crap. I gotta get it.

suspsy

That Dino-Riders Smilodon is indeed tempting . . . but I think I'll still hold out for the 1/18 version.

I'm wondering what the next stretch goal will be, I'm hoping it's that Utahraptor!

Hmm, trying to figure out if Helina is mostly a repaint of Dragolina....Some parts are retooled.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

David pretty much confirmed it in an update.

Giganotosaurus

The Deinonychus has been added as a stretch goal at $285,000, or was that already done last week along with the official Cyberzoic figure reveal?
Mosasurus on Jurassic Mainframe and JPToys
Angurius on TohoKingdom

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

suspsy

The Kickstarter is presently at over $341,000, so hopefully more stretch goals will be added soon.

Faelrin

Yeah hoping the same. Less then $5k away from funding the kickstarter exclusive set. Hopefully unlocks today so we can keep getting closer to unlocking the Deinonychus, and so on.

avatar_Giganotosaurus @Giganotosaurus Last week. Specifically right before the campaign was funded, and when Achillobator was moved up to being the first stretch goal.

It's a little odd that David is revealing the stretch goals so slowly. The previous campaigns were pretty clear about the stretch goal order from the jump. Since so many people are waiting for that Carnotaurus, you'd think he'd want to put the price up so people could preemptively add it to their pledges.
Check out my customs thread!

avatar_suspsy @suspsy I was about to ask where you were looking when I realized you're seeing Canadian dollars. That's $250,000 for those of us below the 49th parallel.

David just shared a pic of the painted prototypes for the Kickstarter exclusive set:

I wasn't sure if I wanted to add this one or not, since I wasn't planning for anything beyond the Smilodon, Utahraptor, Deinonychus, Carnotaurus, and Dilophosaurus, especially on the concept art alone. Well seeing these painted up has sold me on it. So once this is funded I'll switch my pledge around to accommodate it and the print. It does mean I'll need to hold off on the standard version for later, probably when the backerkit survey is sent out.

Edit: I imagine this will look nice next to the "Monoclonius" I have (and although I missed out on it/couldn't afford it), as well as the Tyrannosaurus from last campaign.
