Quote from: Dusty Wren on October 09, 2023, 04:46:06 PMIt's a little odd that David is revealing the stretch goals so slowly. The previous campaigns were pretty clear about the stretch goal order from the jump. Since so many people are waiting for that Carnotaurus, you'd think he'd want to put the price up so people could preemptively add it to their pledges.

I've been wondering that as well, especially since the campaign is now funded. I haven't backed yet as I'm waiting on Andrewsarchus and Carnotaurus, but as of now they're no where to be seen on the campaign page. :-\

I too have been wondering about this.
Also avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy as far as I know the Andrewsarchus isn't planned for this kickstarter unfortunately, it's coming out later down the road.

Faelrin

I think David confirmed on instagram Andrewsarchus would be coming later. Same with Stegosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, etc.

Someone also asked on kickstarter if Yutyrannus and Carnotaurus would be Wave B or C, but David said no announcements to make regarding those yet.

I think this also about the point where the campaign slows down, at least could be like this until the last week, compared to previous campaigns. Revealing another stretch goal may possibly help give it a boost. Only thing we can really do from here is to keep spreading the word though.

If I had to guess, next stretch goal could be either Dilophosaurus or Utahraptor. Both were stated to be Wave B earlier, unless anything changed. I know there's a lot of interest in both of those.

Ah that's a shame about the Andrewsarchus. Thanks for the info avatar_Pliosaurking @Pliosaurking avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin

Another thing, was the BotM colour scheme for Carnotaurus ever revealed? Or do we only have the Cyberzoic one below?

Would be really cool if the BotM one was based on the vibrant red Argentine Tegu since the B&W one was used for the duller Cyberzoic.

So will the BOTM Allosaurus release after the Cyberzoic Allosaurus does? I just want to know since I'd just buy whichever Allosaurus comes first (as long as it's the jimmadseni). Same goes with the Deinonychus, in case a BOTM is coming for that species too.

EDIT: I read that David is considering a 1/12 Deinonychus. I might wait for that figure instead of backing this 1/18 Deinonychus.

Next stretch goal after Deinonychus is the Dryptosaurus set:

I was hoping for a dinosaur that hadn't appeared in the BOTM line yet next, like Carnotaurus or Dilophosaurus. I hope others are excited though!

Very happy with my BotM Dryptosaurus, but I'd be lying if I said the Cyberzoic one doesn't look cooler. Hoped for more new species for the stretch goals though. :-\

I changed my pledge of Allosaurus and Smilodon, to the print and the Kickstarter exclusive Smilodon set. A tiny bit increase in my pledge total as a result ($10).

I was originally planning for the Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Deinonychus, Dilophosaurus, Smilodon, and Utahraptor, or at least some of those, but I'm not going to pass up on the kickstarter exclusives when they appeal to me, and I can afford to do so thankfully.

After the Deinonychus and Dryptosaurus sets are funded that should just leave the Carnotaurus, Dilophosaurus, Utahraptor, and Yutyrannus sets, and the Lizard Dragon left I think, if the list shown last month still holds/not been changed.

Also can't believe I didn't catch that the Dryptosaurus was the next stretch goal. It was even teased in update #5.

Edit: Nothing important, but I was checking some emails, and noticed it said I was backer 199. Nice to know I got up just in time to be one of the first 200 barely lol.

These figures look awesome! Really cool seeing the Kickstarter exclusive smilodon. Really great colors, also cool to see it with a new neck piece with distinct shorter fur. Also the dryptosaurus color scheme looks epic! Really dope stuff. Also hope to see the rest of the figures in the line get funded as well.

Brontozaurus

I was just going to pledge for the Allosaurus and its gear, but I can't pass up that exclusive. It'll look really cool with my Monoclonius from the ceratopsian line.

The only other thing I plan to get is the armour and rider for Dryptosaurus, since I already have the BotM version. I imagine it and the Allosaurus will make a cool display piece on my shelf.  ^-^

The Dryptosaurus is such a thing of beauty:

Both Deinonychus and Dryptosaurus are slated for Spring 2025 (maybe Dilophosaurus and Utahraptor as well if they are still going to be in Wave B). Gonna be such a wait here, lol. I kind of figured that would be the case though, considering how the previous two series have been with their releases. Less then $10k away from unlocking the Deinonychus set as well.

Concavenator

Personally I prefer the BotM Drypto's colors. I also find it odd the Dryptosaurus is an earlier stretch goal than the Carnotaurus, Dilophosaurus and Utahraptor.

Out of those though, I particularly hope the Carnotaurus makes it.

What do we think will be the prices for the Carnotaurus and Dilophosaurus?

Also, if this goes into Backerkit after the deadline reaches, how does that work?

As long as you pledged for something in the Kickstarter you will have access to the backerkit to add to you order whenever you like.

Dilophosaurus is the next stretch goal at 360 grand. It's definitely one of my most anticipated figures in this kickstarter! Also the Deinonychus is extremely close to being unlocked.

Will the Dilo announcement help speed funding up? And which creature do we think will be next after Dilo?
