I voted for everything except Amargasaurus, Apatosaurus, Astrodon, Melanorosaurus, and Nemegtosaurus. I think the former two have decent figures from Haolonggood, while the others just seem too fragmentary based on the current material to be of interest to me.

An updated, serious Plateosaurus figure would be cool.

Like everyone else, I've wanted a Plateosaurus for years, but to be honest the PNSO Lufengosaurus is putting in the hard yards as a decent stand-in. Voted for a few others but a Sarahsaurus would be cool, so I could gift to a friend named Sarah.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Can this list still be extended? I would like to include Omeisaurus, Kaatedocus and Galeamopus to complete the Dashanpu and Morrison faunas.

MLMjp

I was going to question why that Plateosaurus species specifically instead of the type species P. engelhardti... now I know it's a nomen dubium.  :o

I'm with T @thomasw100 on wanting an Omeisaurus.  Not least because I've been to the museum in Zigong.

I want a Plateosaurus badly - I just ignored the species specified by Sim and pretended the list just said the genus name.

I'm going to say no to adding more species to the poll.  The time where species could be chosen has passed and the last time I did carry out that request it ended up spoiling the polls.

Plateosaurus trossingensis is what people tend to think of when they think of Plateosaurus!  The only other valid species of the genus is the much smaller P. gracilis.

An overlooked marketing angle! I had a student once named Ada, who was amused to learn of the existence of Adasaurus. Who knows if she'd have liked an Adasaurus toy? But of course, many more Sarahs in the world.

The Sarah in question is engaged to a Tim, so a Timimus figure as well would be pretty funny.

If she is, she can be thankful to Creative Beast Studio.  ;)

While organising these polls I looked up a number of prehistoric animal genera on Wikipedia and I came across one I didn't know which has a name that begins with Tim.  It might have been an amphibian or pseudosuchian.  I can't remember what it was now, I wonder if anyone knows what it is?

Sim

Oh, maybe avatar_Protopatch @CharlieNovember!  Thanks!  I think it's a more interesting animal than Timimus.

Protopatch

avatar_Sim @Sim it's unfair, in some ways Tim and you are well represented among prehistoric animals ;D

Cool idea, I would also have voted for Mussaurus if it was included in the list.

It's true. Timonya is my favorite, naturally, but there's also Timurlengia and an ammonite called Timites.

I've looked at all the polls I made for voting which prehistoric animals we'd most like made into a figure, and the one with the most votes is Plateosaurus!  I was expecting this, it's been the most-wanted animal on this forum for years.  I wonder if we'll eventually get a new figure of it?  Barosaurus is close behind, in second place, which I'm pleasantly surprised by.
