Ah, would've liked to see a comparison with the HC Ceratosaurus. The new sculpt is definitely superior to the original Roarivores one though.

Blade-of-the-Moon

The Cerato looks nice, I might have picked it up if it had the JP3 colors but I haven't even opened my HC Cerato yet.

Much better than the previous Mattel Pachyrhinosaurus. Could've used a bit more paint though, reaching dangerously close to Diabloceratops-levels of paint skimping.

New Camp Cretaceous set spotted in Australia. Caught wind of these pics from jurassic collector on instagram:

Haven't seen Stygimoloch in a few years now I think. The coloration looks similar to that one basic figure out there. Glad to see the Dominion Carnotaurus mold get a repaint.

Didn't realize this sooner, but BBTS had the new case in stock. Only the Ceratosaurus and Parasaurolophus are still there. Other two already are sold out.

Unfortunate to see Andy's figure had an issue right out of the box with the crest not fully assembled, and the jaw being on there pretty tight, but at least he was able to fix it. The light up feature is looking much better in the dark, then it did in the other video in the bright store lighting. You can see even see there's a glowy effect to the stripes as well which is a nice touch, which is similar to what the promo pics had showed. Definitely couldn't make that out in the last video.

The giga is a pleasant surprise. It's not often we get one of these Beyond the Gates reveals that haven't already been leaked yet nowadays.
Totally makes up for the atrocious mainline releases, and just look at those nicely proportioned feet!

Pyroraptor be looking film accurate from the pic here. Wonder when that one will be going up.

Edit: Guessing that and Delta are next months reveals.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Shame the Theri is so small. It should be quite a bit larger than this. Giga looks fantastic.

Is it really that much bigger than the giga in the movie? I guess I didn't notice.

Want to express my thoughts on this one. Well, that's one big figure! Definitely miles better than the mainline Dominion Strike n Roar version. What I've learnt with Mattel till now is never rush to buy a figure. Eventually, there will be better offerings. For example, the brilliant HC Carnotaurus which is also much better than the mainline offerings. But of course, that depends on one's budget. Back to the HC Giganotosaurus. Although it's much better than the mainline version, I feel the arms are too big and the tail  too long. But still, it's brilliant. I'm curious to know whether those who have the Nanmu or Prime One Studio version will get their hands on this one or not. And whether those who have the mainline version will sell it to buy this one.

Access to these higher end figures is difficult in the country I live and I don't have much space for my collection, but I am content with my Wow Stuff! Movie Mates JWD Giganotosaurus articulated figure;

It's the closest alternative for this upcoming Hammond Collection version for me.

Giganotosaurus

I like that this Giganotosaurus is longer than the t rex figures, as should be. A bit too long, but I'll take it.
Mosasurus on Jurassic Mainframe and JPToys
Angurius on TohoKingdom

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

Dilopho

The Giganotosaurus seems like a bit of an oddball, does anybody else think the head looks small?
If it's as lightweight as the Carnotaurus was, I can see it having some trouble standing. I feel like the legs are gonna be a little weak to hold it up.

But both of these look great. I'm glad that they are fully embracing the smaller feet, the feet are still big looking but much better than they were in the past.

Blade didn't say it should be larger than the Giganotosaurus, just that it should be a bigger figure. Look:

It stands about the same height as the other two theropods, not counting the neck of course.

I wanna point out though, in the pic of the figures up there, the Therizinosaurus is crouched quite a bit.

Pliosaurking

I quite like them both, especially that Giga.
