Oh those are from various WW2 1/32 scale figurines. I had to modify them with epoxy putty to resemble the actors.

1/32 figurine modification!
That's awesome!

Hello again, I've recently completed a scene from Jurassic Park 3. The character "Billy" is made up of various WW2 figurines with some sculpted Tamiya epoxy putty. The pterodactyl is a repainted Papo toy. Enjoy!

The Process

once again, I am totally speechless ;D

Haha, you read my mind Killekor. Yes, I'm intending to recreate the Mosasaurus Feeding Scene but that would be a grand project though. Thanks for the idea of the JP3 Pteranodon Scene! I have a papo Pteranodon with me so perhaps I might give it a go!

Do you Will do a Diorama of the Jw Mosasaurus scene?
And a Diorama of the Jp3 pteranodon scene?

That Will be fantastic!

Thanks

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Wow wow wow, really stunning dioramas, awesome work. Would love one of those !

I am a big fan of JP and Papo so this is really something I enjoy a lot!

Can't wait for the next ones ! Do you have an idea what scenes you'd like to do? And also do you have a picture of all your creations together?

Sorry for all the questions but I'd love to see your process with the resin to make the water (or it's just crazy paint job), the one with apatosaurus is just mind blowing !

Thank you Pako, yeah Papo has nicely sculpted dinosaurs that closely resembles JP's version of dinosaurs. There are a couple scenes I have in mind but that would take up a year or so. I'd probably take a photo when I move in my new place, with proper shelves and lighting.

No worries. It's basically mixing blue, green and black to get various "depths". Then I just paint a layer of Woodlands Scenic's Realistic Water product. After drying, I used Woodlands Scenic's water effects to create the waves.

For the Apatosaurus, there was some trial and error, resulting in some wastage of expensive "realistic water". To get the colour, I basically added Tamiya's clear green acrylic into Woodlands Scenic Realistic Water. Then I created the waves with Water Effects. It was my first try so I did quite far bit of research, watching videos and reading tutorials. Hope that helps!

Once again stunning work your modelling skills are of high quality especially the scenic effects as someone who used to make wargames terrain I appreciate the skills involved.

bL00df0x

Thank you  ^-^ Wargames are really another level, the level of dedication and hardwork are truly inspirational. Glad to know that you appreciate it  :D

Have you ever thinked about "Extend" Your dioramas? For example, you can create other "Mountains" that you used in the pteranodon diorama and add them to the existing one until you recreate a big diorama. you can also add the baby Pteranodons nest!

The thought of extending my diorama with mountains would mean that it would take up more room! Hahaha, space is a constraint so I will need to be wise about it. The Mosasaurus scene would be quite big so I'm leaving the biggest space for that scene  ;)
