I've always wondered how you guys sculpt the skin paterns or scales. It's more than just lines carved in to the surface....how do you do it? It looks exceptional.

This includes working long hours with instrument and then with a fine brush smoothers the surface, but so that the structure is not really waxed away.

Megalosaurus

I absolutely love the painted version.
I wish it interconects to another figure just as the Dimetrodon/opiacodon do.

Eryops, the new kit by Vitali Klatt is now available at Urzeitshop.

The model comes in a 2 part, very nicely detailed, unpainted kit.

Beautiful. I like seeing behemoths in repose.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

stunning models! sigh...a bit out of my price range and Id have no idea how to put them together anyway.

that diplocaulus in the Dimetrodon vs Ophiacodon piece is thinking "F@!% my life!" ;D

Viking Spawn

There are some impressive sculpts by this company!  If they would come fully assembled and painted, I'd be all over this line!

:D Wonderful models by Vitali again and I can hardly wait for the release of another species, whose name I'm afraid I must not reveal.

Finally, the book Steve White "Dinosaur Art II" was published, which included my modest works. Very proud. Many thanks to Steve White. I take special pride in being on the same line with my good friends and wonderful paleo artists, like Andrey Atuchin and Sergey Krasovskiy, who first meets the reader on the threshold of the extraordinary world of prehistoric creatures.

Interesting, had the first book on my wishlist for ages now. Didn't think there were sculptures too, I assumed it was all about paintings.
