I'd choose one hundred times Polacanthus simple paint scheme over the pointless mix that were the so-called rainbow rexes, so it's just fine for me.

Purple's fine with me. I like that Papo's branched out from JP-style brown, grey, and dull green.

Perhaps, they were inspired by Tyco's Edmontonia...

CityRaptor

Tyco's Edmontonia is not purple.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Silvanusaurus

I dont think the problem is the specific colour, it's just that the colour has been used in a very flat and bland way, which to me only adds to the general temperament of plodding gawkishness that this figure seems to have.

Killekor

Recieved my Papo feathered Velociraptor from Amazon.es today, and, It's GREAT!!!! I love it!

It it's better and more detailed than in all the photos of it that i've seen! In all the photos seems a tripod, but it stand on his 2 legs! also the colors are better! This is mytird (and favorite) Papo figure! Vote: 10/10

I think this is one of the best 2016 models!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Halichoeres

I'm actually pretty fond of this Polacanthus. The head is odd but I'm not sure how far-fetched it is. Superficially it looks like heads that have been described in close relatives.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Fenestra

It is good to see the Velicoraptor on two feets, Killekor.
Way better looking than needing its wings to keep standing up straight.
And I'm pretty sure that Papo ment it to be this way in the first place.

Reptilia

Definitely meant to be positioned like that, although it's a bit hard to find the right balancing.

Probbly the fact is that many times the shipping warp it :(, Luckily, not in my case :), Altough it's not scientifically accurate, from the photos, i prefear it to the new WS version (Sorry Doug), I Like the fact that is fully feathered, and at the same time Seems a reptile, not a bird.

I am the Dinosaur King!

Jetoar

I have the new figures from Scheich that my girlfriend gifted to me. I thinkit is not bad but they are not for accurate collectors.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

BlueKrono

Got a handful of figures from a seller in England. Nothing too shiny, but they have their charm.

I just can't get over this guy. Look at that derpy Hartebeest face! Favorite Stegosaurus ever, accuracy be damned.

And this crazy Trike, dancing a jig. I call him Toothbeak.

I'm actually quite taken with the scale pattern on this guy. Never seen another dino toy like it, and that's saying a lot in this industry.

And got these guys in pastel colors. The other color variants can be seen on my Collections page.

BlueKrono

Recent Acquisitions - Birthday Edition!

After first meeting my gf she quickly became infatuated with my endearing dorkiness, and she would say "Rawr!" to me a lot. When she finally worked up the courage to say "I love you," I responded with, "I know... Everyone knows 'Rawr' means I love you in dinosaur". It became her favorite BlueKrono quote, and has been a running joke between us since. For my birthday today she gave me this, which she had made for me by a local artist. I'm swooning.   ;D
