Safari released a Kentrosaurus a few years ago that's already been retired. It's actually a pretty nice little figure. I think I still have a spare MIB one lying around somewhere.

Safari has said they'll unveil the new models soon...

My biggest hope is a mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum by david krentz for his 1:40 scale line!

Some other wishes are:

Papo:
Acrocanthosaurus or Suchomimus and apatosaurus (sideshow inspired)

Safari:
New styracosaurus or nasutoceratops and a charcaradontosaurus

Battat:
Argentinosaurus (a man can have his dream right?)

anchry6

Carnegie Collection:
After three years with only one dinosaur this year I expect many; and for the precision all these:
- Allosaurus;
- Velociraptor with feathers;
- Stegosaurus;
- Apatosaururus;
- Parasaurolophus;
- Pachycephalosaurus;
- Pteranodon;
- Dimetrodon;
- Euoplocephalus;
- Protoceratops;
- Maiasuara;
- Elasmosaurus
- Iguanodon
- Mosasaurus;
- Triceratops;

:D

Pretty soon,we will see just how reliable or not all the rumors of a new Carnegie Velociraptor really are! ;D
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

The ones much more difficult to guess will be the Wild Safari ones,since that line tends to go all over the map from T. rex to Dunkleosteus. :)

May I ask what hints led to it being a velociraptor? I remember feathers being mentioned, but not much more than that.

From what I remember, last year there were hints that two dinosaurs would be released for Carnegie collection and that they would be ones that were recognized by a wide range of audiences. Sadly only the T-Rex was set to be released, while the other was said to be small and feathered.

Yes, a "wide range of audiences" would make sense for velociraptor, particularly with Jurassic World right around the corner. I still think there's going to be a yutyrannus whether from Carnegie or Safari, but I guess it doesn't have nearly as much name recognition. Also, for anyone interested, a member on STS had made contact with Safari LTD and it appears they are releasing information late October.

A updated Velociraptor from the Carnegie line is (imo) long overdue:

But then again many sculpts in the line are in a need of an update. I would rather see some revised sculpts from Carnegie than anything new next year. But that's just me...:)

If they made a Velociraptor along the same lines of quality as their Caudipteryx, I'd be happy.

Concavenator

Some STS members have seen it,and said it's a spectacular model.
Are they really being announced in late October? :( That's still very late,consudering is Safari.
I was expecting mid-late September for it.I don't at all mind waiting for the figures being released,but knowing what's in store is different.
I think Wild Safari is going to release:Kosmoceratops,Shunosaurus,and a Gorgosaurus.No Yutyrannus,Quetzalcoatlus,or Carcharodontosaurus next year from Safari,officially confirmed by a STS member.

These are the ones I'd like to see off your list. Especially a new Iguanodon, and more sauropods in general.
Oh and a decent Dilophosaurus, and and and...

I can deal with it, a month isn't all that long to wait. At least it's not any longer than that :)

Me too! Too many need it! Out of the old ones that desperately need an update, I'd really love them to start with the Jurassic period. (They might even be able to market them with the new Jurassic World. Hehe!) But it would be great to have a new set of the Apatosaurus, Allosaurus and Stegosaurus. I know WS has newer models of these, and they're quite nice. But it would be great if Carnegie made these new figures at their old staple 1/40 scale.  :D

I think CollectA will have an amazing 2015.With all the quality,talent and creativity (as always) that has been put for 2014,they won't let us down.I already can see some 'species' being done for next year-may I speak?(I don't know what's coming,just guessing,however I'm pretty good at guessing,last year,I predicted 4 models)
Some people have given some cute little hints,please someone to give some,same as were given with Safari?
Anyway,I have things on my head already...  8)
And yes,CollectA is the company I have my biggest expectations next year.

Concavenator

Hey,this is something that got me thinking...there is a possibility that the upcoming Carnegie Velociraptor looks like this one?
http://livingmontessorinow.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Feathered-Dinos-TOOB-Key.jpg
It's possible since most toob figures look similar to the bigger scale ones-the Tyrannosaurus from this toob looks like a mini version of the Carnegie 10th Anniversary Tyrannosaurus...the Beipiaosaurus is similar too...it's possible at least.
