Glad to hear that! ;) Preferred scale?

Patrx

Hm, I've never paid much attention to scale, hah. 1/40? 1/35?

fabricious

Fair enough, I'll go with the usual (1/40 and 1/72) then.

Can I request 1/35 scale? :)

Something different from all the models lately: a generic dromaeosaur drawing in a sort of 'comic'-style. I'd love to read your thoughts on this and if I should do more!

Also, I made a bit of a nicer rendering of the Maiasaura mother, in a different pose:

Loving the dromaeosaur drawing, lots of personality there :) Perhaps when you decide to work on another model you could consider making a similar creature for your Shapeways shop? In, say, 1/10 scale or thereabouts? Just an idea. Great work!

I love the Maiasaura, from the accuracy to the detail to the colour choice. I know I say this a lot, but I really mean it here: she looks alive.

Thanks a bunch! :) I think it's the best color scheme I have come up with so far. So much more to work on!

Thanks! I am quite occupied at the moment, but I hope to get working on her and the juvenile some more.

Hi Fabby
I went ahead and ordered your Albertosaurus. I had trouble photographing it so I primed it and then tried it. There are a couple of spots I missed but I can go back and redo them

Pre-primer

Primed

I did the same thing with the Pachyrhinosaurus

fabricious

Thanks for ordering and for the pictures, TQ! They seem to have come out nicely, I hope you're satisfied with them! :)

Halichoeres

The primer really does make it easier to see how good the designs are.

I worked a bit more on one of my illustrations that will, hopefully, be finished at some point. (Most photo textures are placeholders for now and will be painted over during the process)

It looks to be coming on very nicely, and I'm blown away by the detail you've put into the texture of the feathers. If there's one nitpick it's that the snout of the animal at the back seem a little too deep for a Velociraptor, but that could just be me.
