[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Sadly the apato was not available there yet
Will need to wait for it
Copy or not the model is really nice and as long as i cant find the sideshow it will do very nicely

about the fibers
The model is not that big so i5 would have been hard to get that in there as well

Thanks for posting the photos, reinier zwanink. You've convinced me to buy this pretty little pterosaur, no matter it doesn't look as good as in the product pictures (no surprise here, though).

Mironimus

I don't use product pictures for display, I've taken most of the pictures shown at Urzeitshop by myself.
So, what you see is what you get.  ;)

Which is why I asked reinier zwanink to post more photos. I was wondering if Papo didn't update product pics to reflect last minute changes to the paint job. Thanks for the confirmation, Mironimus. May I know if you have (or going to have) exclusivity on earlier release of the Apatosaurus too? I'd buy the pair.

Mironimus

I don't know if I get the Apatosaurus earlier than others, but it seems to be the case with the Tupuxuara.

Thanks for the pics, reinier zwanink and Mironimus! Looks like it's a bit more colorful than the promo pics had us believing. :)

Well looking at the first pics of tupuxuara and my model
Only a few dark spots on the wings are missing
But not at all disturbing

I´m not so fond of the heavy light grey drybrushing on the Tupuxuara´s wings. It almost looks like the paint was rubbed off... :( It looks like the work of a beginning modeler, they often go too heavy on drybrushing. Or is the effect overemphasized by the camera´s flash?

I think the flash of the camera is adding an extra layer of uneven shine. Also, Papo models tend to vary considerably ...because they are individually hand painted or something to that effect?

I usually reference the urzeitshop pictures as they tend to be moderately representative of the final product...they take multiple angles with relatively even lighting distribution.

More pics of the Apatosaurus. This thing is AWESOME
