Great new additions.
Yeah, I share a lot of your sentiment about some of the brands out there today especially Safari. I hav't been excited with their releases recently...too bad so mcc is lost between prototype and final mass produced figures.

I suspect that Safari is not state-of-the-art when it comes to modern production engineering.
Papo, REBOR, PNSO or even modern Schleich figures seem to be more detailed. ... Let alone the latest Kaiyodo produtions (Sofubi etc.).
Having written that I realized that all the other companies I've mentioned aren't from the U.S.

Unfortunately I missed the original David Krentz' Kickstarter campaign about the 1:18 "Regina Mundi" kit.
60 kits were available by Kickstarter: they sold out in about 8 hours.  ???

Today Mr. Krentz did an extension to the campaign with 20 more kits available.
They are already sold out now.
This time I was lucky enough and I did a pledge on one.
So, on about December, my lonely "Rex Mundi" will have his queen ..  ;D

p.s Regina Mundi (lat.) = earth' queen / Rex Mundi (lat.) = earth' king

Lucky you! I too like it so much, but I have quit collecting resin kits for long.

And oh, "Regina" means "Queen"... I thought it's a tribute to Dinocrisis protagonist named Regina.

New Acquisitions

..first of all a "vintage" and colorful figure from 2005/2006: Sega large vinyl Stegosaurus

..then, for sure, the best Jurassic Park inspired figures in the mid-price range:

W-Dragon (1:35) Spinosaurus

W-Dragon (1:35) Tyrannosaurus

They are heavy, solid and big statues, extremely well detailed: a real deal for that price  8)

Halichoeres

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I like that Stegosaurus. We need more purple on dinosaurs.

Great photos.  I admit that I started collecting at a very good time.  It seems that a lot of manufacturers are really stepping up to the plate in 2019.  And I do love the W-Dragon models, no seams and no issues staying upright.

Killekor

That Troodon kit it's fabulous!
I love both the sculpt and the color scheme. They look so realistic! I've rarely seen such a great resin model!
Congrats for having it!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

I agree with everything KIllekor said.
It is wonderful.
Lovely details.

I love so much the application of the blue color.
Ordinarily, blue is not a 'natural' color of animals -
but Martin is doing it just so perfectly.

I envy you Robin for being able to afford those things (589,00 €) time after time and again -
It is realy a great piece.

Very nice; such sexual dimorphism is very common in extant birds, it makes sense their extinct cousins could also exhibit such patterns.

  It might sound strange, but it's a Sideshow knock-off :o .

The head is quite similar to Sideshow Mosa (less detailed, of course..).
The body and posture is different.
But it reminds so much Sideshow in a way cheaper figure..

tanystropheus

It looks like a prime candidate for a commission repaint. I think it has the potential to be gorgeous!
